Tonight Bilbao suffered from naivety and the contrast in performance between Falcao and the rather sluggish Llorente.
Adrian has been very underrated by many, signed for a free and chipped in with almost 20 goals this season, and countless assists. One of the unsung heroes of Atletico's tournament.

Yep, always wanted Atlético to do well ever since Fernando Torres burst onto the scene so it's good to see them turn the season around and win a trophy. Now to see if they can keep Falcao at the club over the summer, and Diego (who is only on loan). Heard rumours that they wont pursue the transfer, which would be a huge blow. He's looked great whenever i've caught their games.

Well it doesn't happen too often for a club like Bilbao that they have the chance to win a European trophy.
I think a win really would have meant the world to most of these players so naturally they are disappointed.
Considering his age and the intense way they practice and play I imagine its a seasons worth of tension being let out.
