News we all expected?
Yeah but now we have to go all out and get the other one they don't
Usual misery drama queens whinging.
Obviously being totally sickened by hearing Cooper say that City & Chelsea can make hay this summer isn't allowed
Yeah of course. We have no chance of signing a player city want. As history has shown us.
Let's just close the thread and update wiki to call him a city legend.

Yeah sounds like a good idea to me
Good stuff. Then you can find another thread to take veiled swipes at your own club in.
I am taking swipes because it hurts me deep that our yankee leech scumbag owners don't give a shit about us
Right. So city announce the much anticipated, and totally expected, moving on of Aguero at the end of the season and your first thought is to log on to the Caf and tell as many people as possible that Haaland is a done deal and United can't compete with city.
Seems reasonable.
Bastard Glazers.
Well we can't compete with them over a season due to their resources, may feel differently if there was any sense of us buying the CB, CDM, RW & ST we so badly need this summer but as usual we are cutting corners
If we weren't paying £40-50m odd per year in interest we'd be able to blow even City out of the water in the transfer market. Something like £500m over the last 10-15 years? What a joke.
All that dominance under SAF to play second feeder to oil clubs and the likes of Bayern.

I am taking swipes because it hurts me deep that our yankee leech scumbag owners don't give a shit about us, I also feel absolutely disgusted that oil bankrolled clubs are able to just act as if everything is normal with finances
Bailly and Lingard will leave because they actually want regular game time.Well, as expected, we're in March and the summer transfer window is shaping up to be a shit show already. So messy before it's begun. Pogba, Bailly, Lingard - all going in to their final year with no sign of a renewal. I can see all three staying and seeing out their contracts - great work from the board on that. We need a CB, CDM, RW and CF. We'll be lucky to get one of those of the required calibre. I can see a Donny-type signing in one of those positions - maybe Dembele, who is essentially a squad player. The rest will be fluff like last summer. Add in the Euros, which leaves little time to get business done and it's a grim summer.
Apologies for the negativity, but this board has lost all confidence I may have once had that they can do a decent job and put the manager and the team first.

Haaland knows Ole so he'll sign with us.
I don't know who Cooper is but he sounds irrelevant. Haaland will go to to la liga or us.Like Cooper said the relationship with him won't mean anything when City/Chelsea can drop £150m without any problem
For all the talk of Chelsea and City paying exorbitant fees for players and how easy it would be for them to drop £150m for Haaland, United still hold the record for paying biggest transfer fees in English football though not much to show for those outlays maybe it would change for Haaland but let's wait and see before hitting the panic button.Like Cooper said the relationship with him won't mean anything when City/Chelsea can drop £150m without any problem

How about Erling’s cousin who plays Molde, Albert Braut Tjaland?
The speculations that City were willing to break their usual ceiling of 60m to go after a striker were true. This transfer will inject a large chunk of money into the market that had been frozen and start the rounds of musical chairs. Now that United has appointed a director of football, he will keep track of the trends in the market and become an active participant. This summer should be replete with opportunities to upgrade the squad. I am looking forward to the transfer news to come.
Stylistically, Kane suits City better than Haaland.
Still unsure about whether I want him.
I mean, he's a fecking great player but the team is going to face a lot of the same problems it did with Lukaku.
I think we need a more all rounder and a player great with his back to goal. Haaland wants to play on the last line.
This team does not create nearly enough to support that kind of striker.
Prime Benzema would have been a great option to have.
And if Ole was as big a pull as some hope, he'd have joined a few years ago.
Usual misery drama queens whinging.
Yup. Will leave next summer. But there will of course be a lot of speculation this summer which will help media outlets and clubs in keeping fans enticed.
Honestly. I don’t even think he’ll leave this summer, tbh.
Disagree with this, from the very beginning him and his family were only going for where it was best suited for his development. And for all the discussion BL is an easier league than PL.
That combined with the exit clause is why they chose Dortmund. Also he didnt want to fight with Martial for the starting spot, he wanted to be a nailed-on starter.
The guy chose RB Salzburg over Juventus when he left Norway, that just shows what his priorities was.
Now that he is ready to go to a top top league and team, Ole might still be a deciding factor.
