Erling Haaland | Dortmund player

feck his talent and innate traits like his pace. It's the absolute basics for a striker he's got in himself, the runs, the ability to shield the ball, attacking the space, getting in front of the defender, knowing when to stop to lose his marker, ability to hit the ball with power, he's a role model whose game should be shown to every single young kid who wants to be an attacker.
This. Its the basics that make a striker and he has them all.

The general impression is that when that cnut got involved and wanted a buyout clause, we told him to feck off and pulled out.

Yeah although it seems United had an agreement from Haaland but Raiola got involved and that changed.

Can't help but feel there's bad feeling from that. That Athletic article is interesting stating Solskjaer and co met with Haaland and he agreed to come - Raiola was not present. Then a short time later he got involved and things seemed to change.

Don’t care about his age, in current form he’s the best pure striker in the game. He’s got it all. He has the technique, the intelligence, speed and acceleration, the right mindset and incredible physics. If he keeps this up, he might have a shot at becoming the player Adriano was meant to be. Sensational.

Well the Pogba transfer situation isn't helping us at the moment, under the same season under the same agent - so when Raiola started asking for weird bits & pieces - I can see why we think this is Pogba 2.0 happening again.

I think he will end up in the PL one day & we will be one of the favourites when that time comes - hopefully by then Raiola's done something Haaland himself doesn't like.

We’re potentially witnessing the new Ronaldo who has skipped the 17-23 year old phase of his career and jumped straight into no nonsense goal hungry beast phase.

Second goal was a rocket.

Don't care how good he is.. Riola should erase any feeling of us loosing out here. Glad we didn't go through with this. Watch them start to work it after next season.

Careful there. Adri at his peak was like nothing else ever. Big, physical centerbacks got out of his way out of fear

He's not wrong, Haaland is pretty much the same thing. He's 19, and has absolutely insane physical attributes and is such a pure striker of the ball.

Of course. It’s unlikely, but he has a shot at it. Already plays like Ibra on coke.

I quite liked the moment in the game when Haaland chased a ball that was obviously going to reach the goalkeeper first. Only Haaland somehow managed to get a foot on the ball as the goalkeeper was diving at it.

feck this is depressing. Remember when half the caf didn't want this guy?

If United can build well this summer under Ole maybe we could be hid next move.

How did we not go all out for this kid? Our management is the acme of ineptitude. Probably for the best, we'd have ruined him.

The guy has incredible mentality. There’s something obsessive about the way he plays. How he constantly starts runs between the defenders is so impressive to watch. Whenever he plays, I actively avoid looking at the ball at times, just to see his positioning. He doesn’t make mistakes. It’s baffling to me.

Any word on what his alleged release fee is?
Whatever X is, you’re looking at similar amounts to both him and Raiola to sign him. There’s no bargain to be had here. You’ll be a looking at a deal that will be one of the largest in history to sign him, even if Dortmund only get a fixed amount of that.

At 19 he is already in the conversation for being one of the best strikers in Europe, just madness.

Defenders were physically scared of Adriano

The only other players i've seen having that effect are Gullit and Zlatan. And neither quite at the same level. Not sure Haaland is like that

He isn't physically dominant like Adriano, or a beast like Ronaldo (either one). He looks like a RVN regen.

Great player, strikes the ball like Batigol. He will be a dominant striker in world football for the next decade at least. However, I am happy to see him playing elsewhere if it means Raiola has less input at United.

Woodward should give an ultimatum to every player at United who has Mino as an agent: Ditch him or don't play for us. Fine if you can find a buyer but if not Schweinsteiger treatment: off to the U23s.

So the same people who think we should never sign a Raiola player again think we should sign a Raiola player ?
