LVG bored us to death, not because of possession, but because his teams lacked verticality (movement, pressing, incisive passing, timidness). LVG's football was largely thought of as boring prior to United. The opposite of Ten Hag.
Thankyou infact if remember correctly Several Bayern fans actually warned about it and his world cup exploits was highly exaggerated when the actual football was quite dull and uninspiring to say the least .
This is in his later years. In the 90s LVG was considered one of the most exciting and innovative coaching minds. If anything Hag's 2018 CL run and league success had Ajax fans reminiscing about the glory days under LVG when they actually won the CL with kids and reached back to back CL finals. We shouldn't forget LVGs influence on Barcelona alumni Gurdiola and Xavi.
