still gets no respect
Yeah totally agree. And I think that’s what will be done. That’s why they should just announce it if its done this week for example, then say he’ll talk about it after the cup final and the league

I didn’t change my opinion at all. You just didn’t even understand it before starting an argument. I feel sorry for your logic. But you've changed from agreeing with someone that said "There is nothing wrong with this set of players" to "With the right manager, won't be playing so badly".
We're not playing well but imo that's because Rangnick has put across some hard truths to the squad and they have downed tools.
Their effort levels are abysmal.
To say there is nothing wrong with this squad or to agree with that statement is just bizarre imo.
I guess many of us including myself think the transfer of Tardic and Haller were odd for Ajax at that time. They apparently work out well. Not sure how much ETH play a role in the decisions. If our club can do transfer like they have done, we will be in good shape then. Need to tie him up early and assemble his team to work with us asap.If he can turn bang average players like Tadic and Haller around that's got to give some hope when it comes to our lot
I haven't seen Poch's side dominate possession against top sides consistently. When he was in PL, his spurs side used to hardly dominate big sides but instead got dominated consistently by other top 4 or top 6 sides.
Also the football his side play especially since 2018 has been underwhelming. Would rather risk with ETH and give him the backing. Poch will be a meh choice
There is nothing wrong with the present set of players. Ole won top 4 with them the last two seasons.
They will do well under Ten Hag. Ralf has been a poor manager.
You can't make up eye test. If I say I don't find his football attractive, what is there to make it up. His football since 2018 has been dour, that is my opinion. Nothing to make it up. His record against other Big 6 sides in PL especially away is poor, Nothing to make it up. His football against Pep's city has always been about sitting back and trying to hit on the breaks, again what is their to make it up.I can guarantee you dont have the possession stats to back this assertion. You made this up

This is not to say Pochettino's team play bad football, but feel we can do better.
You can keep on replying to me with your baseless point but his side doesn't always/consistently dominate big teams in big games. He is more of a pragmatic coach (and nothing wrong with that). You can write a novel about how you dislike his football but I'm specifically addressing the made up facts about Pochs possession stats against the top 4-6
He works for the Mail. They have a reputation but also have their sources. Is draper_rob credible?
You're starting to look silly now. You are just making things up. I replied to your comment agreeing with a statement that said "There is nothing wrong with the players".I didn’t change my opinion at all. You just didn’t even understand it before starting an argument. I feel sorry for your logic.
What we are saying is that these players have the qualities but Ralf are unable to get the best of them. We think a right manager will do much much better than where we are now, the 8th in the table. Do you understand the logic behind now?

He's actually a more attack minded coach who places an emphasis on a high line, high pressing and quick transitions to attacking positions. You can go along with the theme of revisionism when it comes to Poch on here though
We need fresh players in defence, attack and midfield. If there is at least one that tries hard in those positions and they havent been affected by these shower of shite we that have now, ETH might stand a chance. He cant come in, play the same midfield and defence and expect not to lose a game. Their heads are fecked. Mentaly broken.
Those players werent world class but still decent and most importantly they didnt live in a huge club bubble that were in a mess that led to their mentality being changed for the worse. If he can turn bang average players like Tadic and Haller around that's got to give some hope when it comes to our lot
The cultural reboot with these players have failed terribly. Now we have a culture of toxic positivity where the players know they can get away by not giving their all and believe they have nothing to play for and think thats okay because what matters is for them not to get abused by the fans. Living in a sunshine and rainbows, avoiding criticism. God save ETH.Yeah that number of players needed for the first XI let alone squad depth seems to grow every week

People talk as if an Ajax coach largely gets a free pass. Ajax coaches are roasted by fans and media if they do not both win trophies and play 'the right way' (the Ajax style). They don't demand CL success of course, but there are probably few environments that are as hard on a manager. They are soft with everyone in comparison to what you can see on the continent. Also the way they share their opinion is soft, english media isn't particularly confrontational which is not necessarily the case on the continent. Think about it this way, media on the continent are as direct as fans are.
From what I've read, though, PSG fans aren't happy at all with the football on display. So not that attractive right now. Then you only know about poch, what the haters on here tells you. His side plays attractive football and as mentioned only pep has more passing than him this season.

Obviously, the global coverage isn't there, and so on and so forth. But still.

Tuchel gave them more goals than Poch.Psg fans are the same fans that complained with tuchel, emery and other previous managers that got sacked. Yet most of these managers wet on to do well at other clubs, despite the negativity they got by psg fans. They are only happy when they get champion league and that is the standard of managing one of the toughest job in football. Most fans of a top club will love it if they are walking the league, reaching the semi finals and playing possession based football. But psg fans are a different breed. I think they only fantasize of pep but then again, pep hasn't won a champion league with Manchester city yet. So, I don't know what their ideal manager is.
He's probably not sure now. Hell why would we want to come and work with these bunch of cowards you call players.

really? Forest doesn’t say non sense actually. Just hope no one keeps shouting, “run! Forest~“Good read. The part about his provincial accent is hilarious. There's a Feyenoord supporter on this forum who said Hag speaks like Forest Gump haha.
The bit about retraining players into different positions is interesting. Wonder how someone like McTominay would actually fare as a CB.

Interesting article about Ten Hag and a comparison between the top sites in Europe - both domestic stats and between them in Europe this season. According to the article Ajax has higher possession stats in both cases than PSG; the latter has just around 55% in the CL while Ajax has higher possession stats than even City with around 62%.
" In terms of possession, you’d probably expect City to be higher, but you can see Ajax are up there with the big hitters. Poch’s PSG however have only had slightly higher average possession than United. It’s not the be-all and end-all, but it is a sign of a comfortable, dominant side on the ball."
