United told Ramsay that he needed to stop the goals from set-pieces - but they forgot to explain that it was the opponents goals we wanted gone
as each day goes by the more I feel sorry for the absolute shit storm that’s heading ETHs way.
I bet he’s already having nightmares.
Took so long to get our first goal, but we did score 4 goals in the 2nd half of the season which isn't bad.United told Ramsay that he needed to stop the goals from set-pieces - but they forgot to explain that it was the opponents goals we wanted gone
Those are ironically the exact players in the positions the reports said we'd be recruiting for. I'd bet on Sancho to be a star, the rest could be doing their improvements from the bench. Look forward to them no longer getting guaranteed gametime by default of having no competition.Of course he can, if they were stocks they're already at their all time low (save for Elanga). Improving them with a new manager coming shouldn't be impossible but whether their improvements are good enough is another question.
Glad Lingard is not on the list. The snake.
Last season United conceded 14 goals from set pieces, which was the second-worst in the league behind Leeds United. This year, since Ramsay arrived, United have conceded only four times from set plays in the Premier League.
You may want to revisit calling Ramsey a fraud.
I am not saying you are wrong, or he is not doing a decent job.Last season United conceded 14 goals from set pieces, which was the second-worst in the league behind Leeds United. This year, since Ramsay arrived, United have conceded only four times from set plays in the Premier League.

How do FDJ and VDB play together in the same team?. I'm under the impression that they play in similar positions and so would clash.. Could someone please help me out with this?.
Mucho gracias
You could check up the line-up of Ajax in most games in 2018-2019 season. FDJ is typical a No.6 receiving and distributing the ball from the back to build up attack. VDB is mostly a No.8 in 433 formation or No. 10 in 4231, so he is the next dot to connect with FDJ . FDJ controlling the rhythm while VDB moving around at space to give FDJ the option to pass the balls. How do FDJ and VDB play together in the same team?. But, hiring a set-piece coach for defending mostly does not sound right. Do other teams have different coaches for either?
Someone pointed out we scored four goals in the second half so far with only four conceding this whole season seems to be an improvement. However, having Ronaldo defending in those set pieces probably helped a lot this season.
VDB Plays more forward Than FDJ, VDB is a 10/8 whereas Frenkie is a pure 6How do FDJ and VDB play together in the same team?. I'm under the impression that they play in similar positions and so would clash.. Could someone please help me out with this?.

I think player power might not be as strong now. They are not dealing with starry eyed Ed Woodward. I am hoping Arnold and Murtough are more ruthless. They will want ETH to succeed and will not want a lot of overpaid whining divas prevent it.A great idea, but this assumes that the players are willing to listen.
Player power in our club is so high that players can get managers fired with relative ease.
If the board are willing to go to hell and back with ETH, then they need to give him 5 years and absolute control. If he says that he wants Rashford, Maguire and the other darlings sold, then the board need to back him up. If that happens, other players will see that he is in charge and not them and the rest of them will fall in line.
As long as the board back the manager we should be okay....but I don't believe the board will back him. I believe that they will fire him within 3 years, especially after the players throw him under the bus....which they will.

Agree. Ones saying about Arnold and jobs for the boys. I think he has been watching how Woodward and Judge and what a disaster it has been. He will have learnt not to go down their route I would hope.Murtough been close to Ralf means he will take what he says on board about these degenerates we have playing for us
None. But hiring only for defensive one sounds funny to me.whats the issue with hiring a specialist set piece coach?

Does anyone think ETH will come in and re-train anyone to a different position? McT as CB, Elanga as full back etc
It's not just players, they have to back him against whinging fans. We can be as big a problem.This. Agreed. Seconded.

You'd think his tendency to hide behind the opposition will make it subconsciously easier to adapt to man markingI've seen nothing from either that would indicate that kind of transition. McT already is a coward, when in midfield with players all around, I'd be rather scared of him being the last line.

Last chance saloon. He has not been in that situation really. Every manager has had him as that home grown untouchable. If he doesn't perform he will replace him.I've seen nothing from either that would indicate that kind of transition. He plays CB for Scotland
And he does at CM ?Not to a high level.
