Fallen Muppet. Lest we never forget
I rate Arteta personally and I was one of those in the Arteta thread defending him when they went through the bad spell because I thought it was fairly obvious you could see what he was trying to do.No doubt. I'd be very happy so far if I was an Arsenal supporter though. Equally, I'd be very happy if we went the same route, at least there's a clear plan.
I also think it’s no coincidence either that he’s going after a lot of young players because they are a lot more receptive and mailable. He deserves credit for taking over a bad situation and really steadying the ship and taking them forward.
Although I am a fan I think he might be a bit limited as a coach though and will end up holding them back but time will tell in that regard.
It’s not too dissimilar a situation to what ETH has inherited either. His handling of the Auba situation was really good too, some parallels to Ronaldo in a way etc.
The difference is that the structure above and around him at Arsenal is drastically better than Ten Hags current situation.
Also worth mentioning because I've seen a few people say he's had a short-term impact, Arteta has been there for 2 and a half years. He shuld be having an impact after that long.
