How can we go into a season with such terrible forwards? After having Weghorst for most of last year that should have been a priority. Not fecking Mason Mount. Fergie used to have 4 top strikers, now we have 1 injury-prone one and that's it.

Needs a full squad to get any kind of results yet his insane training intensity means this isn't a possibility.

Man's a fecking disaster.

There’s simply no way Berrada and INEOS accept this guy going into next season.

Erik must have thought we would have a defensive masterclass to win the game 1-0. I think he forget this tram cramble under pressure. Remind me how many games have we lost? We could sit back and counter, would have a couple of good chance. Feck off, Erik. You are a league one manager so stop acting you belong here.

Seriously he has to be sacked by tomorrow. It is an absolute embarrassment keeping him in this job. Every second he is there we are going further and further backwards.

I have never seen a manager offer absolutely nothing tricky during a game the rest he does.

He just sits there wondering how long till i bring on my favourite.

There is no way we would be worse of immediately sacking him. Nobody could come in and do worse than him.

He’ll likely get the rest of the season but hopefully no longer than that.

Every one of his signings bar Martinez has been average or downright atrocious.
Eriksen and Cas were good for about half a season.
Plus he cannot improve players. At this point, I don’t understand what is it the bald feck brings to the table.

Who's also a teenager. Martial doesn't count as a footballer these days.

He brought on his buddy Amrabat when we needed an equalizer rather than bringing on a attacker like Amad.

Its a stain ETH won't survive and will ultimately be looked back at as a precipitator of his demise alongside his other calamitously pointless buys.

What training do they do? From performances they go to the training ground and walk back out after having a meal

Weird game to choose to criticise him for. Not sure what most people were expecting. Look at the XI that finished the match  unbelievable.

Nearly 2 years in charge and we look worse than ever. Surely there isn't anyone that still thinks he's the man to take this team forward.

Was a truly horrific performance today. We're farther away from them than we've ever been.

I mean, it's basically the same performance against City we've seen a dozen times before, not like anybody was expecting anything else, especially with no striker, no left back and no Martinez.

What is concerning is that we look like we don't even know how to counter anymore.

I think he’ll be done here soon enough. The last two performances and results say it all - at home vs Fulham, against a lesser we looked clueless as to how to control a game of football and then against City away we are unable to string 5 passes together and are playing championship underdog footy. These two results sum up too little progress made despite the spending.

If he's the one who wanted Amrabat and Antony, then he just has to go.
Those 2 gave the worst cameo performances that I've seen recently.

May as well of kept Ole if we are going to play like this, no shots that I can recall at all second half, 27% possession and City look like they could of dominated us for a further 90 minutes with no issues.

Yeah like starting McTominay as pretty much a forward and having nobody on the bench, when it's one of the richest football clubs in the world is disgraceful. There was a result in there if we had anyone at all to hold onto the ball in the second half.

Time to pack it up. Not for this game, but he's tainted goods. No way he recovers from this season's showing. Most of his signings have been terrible. The players look so ponderous and poor on the ball, it makes you question what he does on the training field. The football is terrible as well. I've seen smaller teams go through games with City looking like they can string a few passes. Not us.

Only question is who replaces him.

26% possession 1 shot on target which was a wonder goal.

We've lost 11 games this season and have a minus two goal difference. Ole lost 12 in his final season. Regardless of today's game he's doing an incredibly bad job.

City are fecking good but the way united can't even sustain possession is embarrassing. We shouldn't be in this position (I don't blame ETH for all of it). But it's a disgrace that we are plucky no hopers against our local rivals

Sick of getting absolutely dominated by City and them completely taking the piss out of us. Worst thing is it's not just City anymore we get dominated by relegation fodder. Time to go I think Erik.

Yeah it's not like us getting absolutely outplayed isn't some kind of pattern under him in big games.
Also I wonder who's at fault that half of our squad is out for most of the season
