And this Villa win has become pretty much useless now. We couldn't wait to ruin it the very next game.

We are barely controlling the midfield in the first half so what does he do?? He takes out one of the few good midfielders we have for a fecking ghost in Mctominay. So many times the players take extra touches and look totally clueless on the ball.

When a squad looks worse than the sum of it's parts that's a clear indication that the coaching is below par.
Not only that but Eriksen who was useless throughout was kept on

Brings it on himself with stupid fecking decisions

McTominay will lose him his job

14 losses in 28 games

I knew as everyone sane did, that the Aston Villa win was just a false dawn, papering over more cracks.

ETH ain’t the one, this is quite obvious now.

We've just played 100 minutes of football and our only goal came from their 'keeper passing to us, that's relegation side level of football. He needs to be sacked before too much damage is done.

He lost us this game by subbing Mainoo for McT. One of the worst decisions he's made as manager.

Let me guess this week the players decided to down tools and not follow his plan?

That fecking McTominay sub ffs is Ten Hag seeing something nobody else does? Its cost us time and time again yet he persists with it. Fecking bullshit stubborn fecker
Dunno. I thought we played better in the 2nd half.

It's the soft goals that kill us. 2 shots om target from Forrest and they both go in. It was the same against Villa on Tuesday. We concede really easy goals and it's infuriating.

We've all seen the script this season. We often get a result just when things are on the precipice of becoming untenable, before limping to the next bad result. I would be pleasantly surprised if we get a result tomorrow.

Most predictable result all season

If it turns out that Mainoo isn't injured, and he's actually brought McTominay on to play as a lone DM out of choice, just give him his P45 tonight please.

2023 has been one of the worst years in recent memory. Astonishing.

9 losses before the new year, 14 in all competitions. The worse by the club since the 1930s.

The last time Forest beat us Brian Clough was I'm charge.

No other club would keep their manager.

14 defeats in a season. Before the end of the year. No other top club on earth keeps him on with that form.

Seriously what does he actually do apart from picking fights with his players. Absolutely clueless guy with an insanely big ego

This is 100% accurate. If it was “tactical” as was claimed, then it’s a sackable offence. Everyone could see it would spell disaster. And it did. Cost us the game.

The man is a clown.

Little point sacking him now with a few key players coming back in the next few weeks. Let’s see how he does with a full squad and sack in the summer once our new DOF and CEO have got their foot in the door

There were over 3712 mentions of the word "offside" in the match thread but now it's the same high line catching them out time and again that actually meant we won?

Oh sod off. This is a team third in the league that everyone was raving about and saying they would beat us. We dominated them with our game plan. Bar 2 silly mistakes, we were great.

If you say so.

Today was on ten hag. If Mainoo wasn’t injured then I don’t know what he’s seeing. We concede the same goals every week, can’t score up the other end…it’s a massive problem.

We were losing (and briefly drawing) the game from the 62nd minute onwards, yet no changes either subs or in game were made to try to turn the game around. Until the 89th minute when he told McTominay to go up front.

Says it all really, he's just going through the motions until he gets sacked it seems like.

The season is over for us.

Even Chelsea just 3 points behind will soon overtake us. We'll finish 10th or lower.

I'd rather see a new 11 next season first with Bruno fecking off finally rather than a new manager

the former never happens, so it'll be the latter
