That’s our season done, isn’t it? Don’t know where we go from here. Only hope for any energy injection is a change of owners, I guess. About ETH, I just don’t know..

He has a team with Amrabat, Varane, Onana, Bruno, Rashford, Casemiro, Mount and his £70 million striker at home to Crystal Palace mate.

You are right, some of us are hilarious.
Indeed you are. If things were only that simple like on FIFA and Football Manager eh. Just put on those high stats footballers and roll on. :wenger:

Being seeing this in dribs and drabs since the League cup final last season, now it's just come to fruition in full force every week. We haven't played well since we beat Barcelona, the recruitment has been absolutely fecking dreadful (I'm not really sure who's fault that is seeing as both sides get a veto), there's no style of play and all the players seem to be getting worse. We've got one system and if it doesn't work we just keep doing more of it, it's easy to stop us.

You would hope so. Just feels like the same old story no matter who’s in charge, we keep waiting for a saviour and it doesn’t seem like it’ll be that easy.

Then don't treat them like a saviour? Other clubs go through managers like condoms in a brothel, and we're fixated on the idea of the "one".

9 points from 7 games. 5 points worse than the 21/22 horror show.

The current top 8 (City, Liverpool, Arsenal, Spurs, Brighton, Villa, West Ham, Newcastle) are all better sides than us. Our goal threat is non existant.

Signs have long been there that this is going to be a terrible season.

What a mess.

Sacked in the morning, you're getting sacked in the morning

Is this really any different to us under Ole? I remember us having a lot more entertaining games at the start of Solskjær reign
I enjoyed watching us a lot more under Ole. I know he's persona non grata with the Caf now but he remains the best manager we've had post Fergie. He for forced to accept Ronaldo and ended up paying with his job and legacy. And it keeps us doomed to failure.

Serious questions need to be asked. Our build up structure is fecking garbage. You can't keep blaming players when the system is basically just van gaal type football

Liverpools board only started getting their praise after they stumbled onto Klopp. They weren’t any better than the Glazers before then.

The right man can still galvanize and make a massive difference to the culture of the club. There is definitely still room to explore there after some truly horrendous choices.

It’s not like he hasn’t been backed. This is just awful.

He Is done, you cannot struggle at home to wolves, forrest and Palace, dropping points today is unforgivable, this season is quickly dying already, top 4 will be a distant pipe dream not that they deserve to be anywhere near the champions league though!

How much longer can he actually last? I think this is another record if we lose.

So true.

Problem is that Murtough also sees him as the "one" and gives him a blank check to sign his favourites.

Your delusions make you look so mature :D

As usual, the morons come out in force when the team starts to struggle. The Glazer's absolutely adore you lot. Ignore the real issue that you're totally ignorant of.

Ten Hag and the club as a whole, have really struggled to deal with on field and off field issues. They made a mistake ever thinking of bringing Greenwood back. The Antony domestic violence case is also a shadow. The rebuild of the side that has been required has never materialised and players are struggling for form. So many issues that wouldn't affect the club as much if actual leadership from the top was demonstrated.

Certain players need to be dropped and we're desperate for some to return from injury. The last thing we need is to get rid of the manager who actually showed last season that there can be a way forward

We play with no intensity whatsoever. Not sure if that's on him or the players.

You that want him out, sack and then what? Bring in who? We don't even have money for another rebuild, even if we did, FFP wouldn't allow us, so what? Bloody fecking hell.

We have injury problems but those eleven players are good enough to beat Palace! It wouldn't be so bad if we saw progression but it's more regressive than anything.

I watch United we look like a bunch clueless zombies hoping for something magical from Bruno/Rashford. EtH football looks slow and ponderous and it looks like the players just don't buy into it at all. The problem is, who is out there that could get this lot firing? United are known for their Attack! Attack! Attack! Not anymore!

Top 4 is going to be a real struggle.

No plan, no structure no threat in the way we play. After close to £400m spent.

Same stockfish of Van Gaal.
The second one was trying to implement something at least

Unnecessary changes. Awful team was put with his “favourites” getting chances. We could have sticked with midweek team but not sure why we made so many changes. Brought in players who have been stinking it. We got what we deserved

How did Rashford and Pellistri get into the team while Hannibal and Garnacho on the bench? Why play Mount alongside Bruno. We had no midfield control throughout the match. Anybody who thinks we had a good game is delusional. We were just huffing and puffing out there

He seems out of his depth, his signings this season have been baffling and just haven’t worked, team has gone backwards in terms of play, what are they coaching them they look clueless on the pitch, don’t think he will make it past Christmas, he only has himself to blame wasting money on a keeper to play out from the back which hasn’t improved us in the slightest, should have concentrated on getting a genuine out and out goal scorer, great winning in the cup but must nothing if you can back it up in the league

The entire fanbase need to get over Ferguson and the idea of finding "the one". Managers these days are disposable for most clubs, they come and go and that's just the way it is

The biggest problem has been the recruitment. Just dogshit from all involved in the recruitment structure at the club and that seemingly includes Murtough, Ten Hag and others. Ten Hag is definitely no miracle worker but he does have some qualities as a coach and with better recruitment we'd be looking a lot better. Bad transfers will likely cost him at some point though. He hardly helps himself at times with his subs and selections either, but that largely again comes back to the recruitment.
