Typical game by this chap. Shows why some of us still rate him as a CB then an injury and he's gone. He will never have any significant career here.
He is constantly on the edge throwing himself in to needless challenges and genuinely being reckless. Sometimes he gets away with it, sometimes he gets sent off, sometimes he gets injured.

There's a difference in between being committed in a challenge and being reckless. We're sitting with some proper reckless CB's that are either walking red-cards or injuries waiting to happen.
He was having a good game and close to scoring. Shame on the injury.
Exactly. Think he did well. Some harsh tackle is not reason to say he was awful.

First half he actually looked class. Calm and composed almost no rash tackles. Second half it all went to shit and got brain fart Bailly back, rash tackle after stupid challenge and of course the subsequent injury after only narrowly not causing a penalty minutes before. Oh yeah and Rojo picked up where he left of.

I agree - first order of business is getting rid of brainless players like Rojo and Bailly. We simply can never trust them not to play recklessly (and without the skill to somewhat compensate.)
When he was good - way back when - his performances were viewed through the prism of expecting his rough edges to be smoothed out over time. They haven't been yet. He's still an accident waiting to happen, like most of our back four options. Himself and Rojo leaving would be a step in the right direction.
Same as I wrote in the player ratings. Making that tackle from that angle is suicide. Shame for the player of course as he's got himself injured again. He's just too reckless. Thing is the guy who replaced him is even worse.
