His recovery pace/acceleration to push into midfield is so damn good. He really has to be in the top three of our quickest players.
The yellow card was bullshit. Really annoyed me.

He can be a monster for us defensively.
Less than 10 games into the season and I already rate him higher than Smalling, who with his shirt-pulling antics always worries me.[/QUOTE
At least he did it today when iy was less obvious, there were bodies around him and Can's body obstructed the referees view, we won't always be that lucky though.
I like how he seemingly responded to the City game. Played it long on many occasions. (I assume he in this game as well got the instruction to not play first-base passes)
It shows he's learning from past mistakes. A very promising player.
That isn't how a game should be played. Just because the whole team made a few fouls, then suddenly he makes 1 and gets a yellow for a nothing challenge? pathetic.Agreed but the ref must have warned us that after he let us away with a lot the next one was going to be a card, and Bailly was the unlucky one with the late tackle from behind
Made a sliding tackle that almost felt impossible to me, I literally went 'WOW', because it looked like he messed up the situation just before. It wasn't at a very important area of the pitch but the difficulty factor seemed even higher than the Valencia recovery to me.
Maybe @GifLord could upload it, if he wants to and has the time for it obviously. It was between the 15th and 16th minute of last night's game if my memory serves me well.
Otherwise I might just download the match myself this weekend and make a GIF out of it when I have the time, because it was definitely one of my favourite Bailly moments so far.
You are talking about the sliding tackle to recover from Blind's Slippy-G moment, right?
Not sure to be honest, wasn't that in the second half? The excitement has definitely clouded my memory more than a bit, I just remember telling myself to write down 'Bailly, 16th minute', I actually forgot to do this because of the tempo of the game, but I remembered it this morning.

Agreed - he is fantastic for you. Glad to see you've got a great CB again. Our best signing so far this summer, was great again last night.
I think we need to try and signed an experienced CB to go with him. Balague (unreliable most times) said Pepe is free to sign with clubs from January 1st as his deal runs out next summer, he wants 2 years but Real only offering 1.
Neither do I but I've a feeling we'll get roped into his contract fiasco soon enough, we definitely need another CB though.Don't want that cheating thug anywhere near our club.
