He walked off the pitch rather than a stretcher so you would imagine not super serious however months rather than weeks is a certainty.

Yeah, thought he would be leaving on crutches if it was as bad as the rumors.

If hes walking its just a sprain. Probably just a few games out, if he tore an ACL or similar hed be on crutches.

Be surprised if he is out for more than 3 months. If it was a really bad knee injury he wouldn't have walked off etc. Big loss either way.

If physios and medical team think he has a ligament tear I think there is approximately a zero percent chance they allow him hobble around like that.hed be immediately elevating, icing and would be in a fair deal of discomfort about an hour after the injury.

I will be genuinely shocked at the medical team if he has.

I can't remember a player walking off the pitch and it resulting in a very severe ACL injury. Though the only ones that come to mind are Vidic, Valdes and Falcao, all three didn't move after they happened, and they were all stretchered off.

He's been our best player this season. Will be disastrous if that's the case.

Not a medical guy but am not sure medical staff will let a player who has suffered injury so bad that he is going to be out six months, hobble around like that? Also someone hobbling like that but still walking around can be out for 6 months? It will be good if we have someone knowledgeable about this and explains a bit. I think the '6 months' is just a speculation right now.

I was there when one of my mates got an acl injury in a football match he had to be almost lifted off the pitch and was straight on heavy painkillers and crutches. This was at an Ivy League university where the level of medical help would be very advanced, not as advanced as united, mind. So you would assume they would be treating him immediately for injury as bad as the one rumoured not letting him walk around after the game.

Get the checkbook out Woodward.

I agree, ACL is very painful when ruptured so I doubt it was that as I've been there and done that. However, after 15' I actually thought I could go back on (indoor game). It wasn't until I tried to jog a little that I realized what I had actually done.

Him walking doesn't mean anything. I've done my ACL twice, I was walking after both incidents. Granted, I was shit faced the first time.

What is worse he is the only one of our glorified summer signings who has so far added anything to the team.
