He still has the ugliest technique of all top level test batsman. I hate watching him bat.First saw him in the 10/11 Ashes series and thought he had the ugliest technique I'd seen in quite a while.
Amazing what he's gone on to do.
So what are we on already for Umpiring mistakes?
Warner nicks it behind, Umpires say not out
Warner given lbw, missing
Khawaja nicks it behind, umpires say not out
Smith given lbw, missing
Wade out lbw, umpires say not out
Pattinson given out lbw, missing.
Anything else?
Yep.
Done his calf again.

Yo.Where’s the guy who was seriously arguing with me in the World Cup thread that he didn’t understand what technology does better than human umpires
What Vaughan and Waugh or these umpires
Absolutely not.KP story of a genius, looks a very good watch
Yo.
The tech don't work.
These two could certainly do with an upgrade. The umpires don’t work more
Yeah think the leg-spin was always going to go wasn't it. Was just a way for him to get into the team. Right from the off he was batting in the top 6 and his bowling was pretty ordinary.I remember when he was regarded as a "big hitting allrounder who could bowl leg spin".
Like you say, his rise has been immense.

It's a bit of a shame the best batsman of our era is such an ugly player. There've been plenty of prettier players (M. Waugh, Rahane, Martyn, Bell) who have achieved nothing like what he has.
They didn't have a top-class spinner back then did they. That was pre-Lyon, when people like Hauritz were playing. So I guess he was picked as an extra batting option, like Ali when he first played for England.Think he played a few games at 8 for them too.
Was always a bit of a nonsense mind as he was averaging 50 in the shield when he came in.
Yep, very much looking forward to that.KP story of a genius, looks a very good watch
Love Mark Butcher but this clip of him playing Bob Dylan is going to get annoying if they play it all summer. His voice isn't good enough to stand up to constant repetition for the next six weeks.
Haha it's not just me! Like I say, Butcher's great - he and Key are both excellent commentators and they should be used more. Just don't want to hear that song every five minutes for the rest of the series.I was just thinking I am starting to get annoyed by this now.

GET HIM OUT!
GET THEM OUT!
Whats a good total here? 200?
Given both sides batting, probably.
Don't think the ball has actually done much mind.
Ruling out England getting skittled for sixty odd is brave.I see two possibilities - either England get bowled out for a similar low score or they're getting a sizeable lead.

As much as I'd like it to happen, can't see it. Typical English home performance i.e. you're hard to beat at home.
This feels eerily familiar to our 2014 test when we grinded out a total of around 200, and IIRC, Cook scored 295 in reply.
The Aussies are pretty good at smashing us when we play them on flat pitches tbf.
Well we played them on flat wickets last winter and they were pretty average. Smith aside, they're not very good at batting.
Botham sounds pissed on this commentary stint.
