Was about to call Woakes a white Jordan after he bowled a wide last ball of the 18th but what a comeback from him.

Good game. England will do well in India, they've finally got the right balance for T20 cricket. Pakistan just have to pick the right players, then they are always a force to reckon with in WT20.

Squad for WT20 should be something like this:

Batsmen: Shehzad, Sarfraz, Hafeez, U Akmal, Rizwan
Spinners: Malik, Afridi, Imad, Yasir
Seamers: Amir, Anwar, Tanvir, Wahab, Irfan/Junaid

Hafeez has said he doesn't want to play with Amir, in that case Hafeez retires from the team.

Harsh :lol:

I respect Hafeez & appreciate that he & the others in the side had to deal with a lot of shit after the spot-fixing scandal. But Amir is an incredible talent & I have some sympathy for him that he did something very wrong but was influenced at a young age. He deserves another chance, and if he makes it back into the side on his performances then credit to him. The other 2 wankers (Butt & Asif) can rot as far as I'm concerned.
 
It's selfish maybe but Amir was such an exciting prospect that I'd give him another chance just because of that.

Cricket needs more world class bowlers and Amir was well on his way to being that.
 
I wonder how many wickets Amir would have taken if it didn't happen, he looked like he would be near the top of leading pace bowlers

I can totally see where Hafeez is coming from but making those remarks in public shows a real lack of professionalism. As long as he is a part of the team he should be focusing solely on himself. If this is an ultimatum from Hafeez then I'm afraid he is going to lose the battle. Age isn't on his side and he is half the cricketer without his bowling. I like Hafeez but if he wants us to choose between himself and Amir then Amir is the obvious answer.

He has 51 wickets in 14 tests. If he had played most of the 44 tests he has missed then he might just have been close to 200 wickets. He might still become a leading pace bowler but he has lost all privileges to ever be considered a 'great'.

Yup. He is showing real intent in the on-going BPL. Hopefully he has put all the nonsense behind him and returns to international cricket with a point to prove.

 
Hafeez: I refuse to play with convicted cheat Amir.
His teammates are probably thinking: we'd rather play with a potentially reformed cheat than someone who is involved in 5 out of the 9 run outs this series
