Mini wobble aside, what a day for India. Not completely safe yet but would’ve snapped your hand off if offered this position at the start of the day. Didn’t get to watch any play today, obviously helps India choose to leave a world class spinner out but is there anything in the pitch for England to worry about?

Helpful but lacks context of the current match. Wicket is doing absolutely nothing for pace bowlers right now plus we don't have a proper spinner to put the side batting 4th innings on the rope. If England only have to bat out today to reach the target, they will do so with ease. If we can bat till 2nd session at least with a target of around 300 then a different story.
I think it's a ploy to justify not selecting Ashwin. A lot of weird background politics seem to drive team selection under Kohli
