England v India 2021 Cricket Test Series

Bizarre controversy about lights. It has been done hundreds of time in the past. Not sure what the fuss is about.

this isn’t the first test match where batters have taken the light.

Controversy

My point was more to do with not getting all the overs in over the course of a test match, regardless of whether it’s bad light, slow rates, rain etc. Not sure if you’re responding to me, or to other stuff you’ve seen online, but I certainly don’t blame India for going off last night.

Sibley is pointless if he can't handle this sort of innings. The only reasoning for him being there is to block an end when the team are under pressure and he is the worst of all of them with not being able to cope with it.

Agree. When he first came onto the scene I liked him as an antidote to all the issues with England batsmen playing reckless T20 style shots and getting out too quickly, but if you can't score AND you can't stay in then what are you adding.

100%

Sibley must have dirt on someone to keep getting in this team. Absolutely useless.

Don’t think this pitch is doing enough for a 60 over collapse.

0 & 9 on return for Hameed, feel for the lad.

I hope he is given the remainder of the series and can find some form.

I didn’t expect that wicket. Thought going over. Love it

Wheres @NinjaFletch ? Hasn’t been posting in this thread

i see he hasn’t logged in for many months. Hope he’s alright

Terrible from England here. I suspected when India got to 175 they had enough, but this is just awful.
