The vast majority of their audience are English. Of course they talk about England. You have a local BBC station England does not. I'm sure the same one eyedness exists in france, germany etc. I never been watched N ireland tv but I have feeling the coverge over there might focus on them.

i don’t quite understand how the charts work these days - but if England only went and won the Euros, would the inevitable streams get the song back to no 1?
Succinctly summarised. As much as I want England to win (my other half is English), Germany’s big game maturity will pull them through. It wouldn’t be a thrashing of any sort. I envisage a cagey encounter but with German composure in contrast to England’s profligacy. In fact England may get the first goal but as we’ve seen, their tendency to sit back and defend will cost them.

Not confident at all. Nothing to do with the quality of the teams on paper, or even the performances so far in the Euros. England could have won all 3 games 5-0 and I'd still feel the same, you just know Germany can get the job done and England love finding daft ways to exit tournaments.
