Still Pakistan's day although it's been tarnished by the last minute wicket. If you choose to bat now you should be scoring at 400 and so England significantly under par.
I love Moeen Ali, cracking little player - not a world beater as someone may have gone overboard in here but he has to be the most pleasing batsman England have had since Vaughan.
There's no 'par' score until both teams bat once.
Hales would be my first point of improvement, with Viince as my second. Replace those with an English-Williamson and an English-Kohli with a great spinner, and this team would be better than the 2011 team.

Not true mate. He had an average of 28 in Pakistan and 20 in Sri Lanka. In India he got clobbered by one of the best batting lineups in test matches history and plus Indians at that time were great players of spin.
Warne against our current lot on spinning pitches would destroy them.

Anderson's record is pretty good in most places apart from South Africa (which I think he's toured twice and was half fit both times) and Australia (where he got flogged at the start of his career).
