I feel really bad criticising him on here because I'm worried you might think I'm talking about you.
So how should England approach this day? If I was the captain I'd tell the batsmen to go out all guns blazing and drive the lead to 350 within 4-5 overs before declaring. That would push the required rate above 4 and also leave England 3-4 overs with the new ball if required to clean up the tail.
if he doesn't declare overnight, then Twenty20 style hitting for a couple of overs just for the annoyance factor, particularly to the Pakistani openers.
It's a rubbish pitch that no team should lose 10 wickets in a day on and I would declare with a total that requires a run rate of 5 an over.
I put Cricket Writers on TV on this morning, usually it's quite interesting, but who the feck was that utterly humourless old cnut whinging about supporters having fun? Had to turn it off.

Just put a grand total of 86p on Pakistan at 12/1.
Azhar never plays this quickly in ODIs and he's the captain in that format.
This is the sort of pitch that could use Rashid. 4 seamers aren't getting them out.
