I healed on a resto shaman at the start of cataclysm before they nerfed the content and buffed the shaman healing by a flat 25%! Was fun finding a way to make that work.
Brilliant. Is there a story to run through or is it basically straight into the 'end-game' bit of grinding for loot and creating character builds?
This is my first elder scrolls game, I had no clue what I was doing when I picked my character and alliance, it was really a case of just reading a bit and pressing x throughout the whole process and stuck with it. I was going to switch to AD early on as they were cleaning up in pvp, it's much more balanced now though.
You'll be surprised how nasty it can get between the high scoring pvpers, I ran with one a few times who was originally AD, always top of the leader boards every month and he switched to DC due to politics in AD, fell out with a load of guild mate or something. One of the high scoring EP players got him banned because he kept sending her spicy sausage meals when he killed her
There's a story that'll take you pretty much upto level 50. From there, you've got the Champion Points system which goes up to level 531. Most of our guild are around 200-300. There's an unbelievable amount of things to do. Solo and group stuff.

Premise is keep HoTs ticking, healing ward and combat prayer for burst heals. Heavy attacks with resto staff when all HoTs are up for magicka return/ heal to nearby ally and Mending buff. Swap out rapid regen for healing springs depending on the fight
Ultimates are Reviving Barrier (which I need to grind PvP for) and Soul Siphon which is a truck full of healing if people are in the AoE.
Sounds legit. I've been using strictly resto staff bar to level those abilities and it's definitely viable. Healing ward for shields and burst is good.
I'm also grinding PvP too so give me a shout when you're on. Just grinding for barrier on my healer and grinding tel var stones (while it's double) to get my 3rd PvP set. I have Black Rose (for my tank) and Meritorious (for my healer) sets now.
Actually I think double tel var stones finishes today.
Will do. Healing ward when someone is low is great and the hot you get from funnel health is ridiculous. 125% of damage over 5 seconds each for yourself and an ally it's really cheap and with siphoning attacks is magicka neutral. In my scrub gear it crits for around 10k

Not sure what the issue was earlier, I'm on new anyway. Just bought my 3rd set and banked 6k stones, going to level up my healer now.
Got my DK up to level 40 doing PvP. Went up around 5 levels in a couple of hours I'm going to stick with that until he hits 50 or until I get Caltrops.
Actually got my crafter through the daily and random yesterday. He has about 10 points in non-crafting abilities and passives. Using only an un-morphed Jesus beam and the spear flurry thing. I've never used so many potions in a dungeon before.

If you get the gold edition it's probably best to install it over night. I think I'm up to about 90gb with all the expansions.

That's nuts. Healers and tanks expect to receive criticism if they aren't on point, but DDs are just DDs. Unless they're plain stupid and standing in red or dying a lot, there's not really any way to be bad.
The elitism in this game is real.
Tell me about it, as soon as I see l2p in chat, I bail. I hate cnuts like that. I try and help anyone and give advice where needed if we're struggling. At least give it a shot. The irony was though, the boss I was struggling on or moreso the 4 bosses, the guy doing all the talking was telling me which boss to hit and in what order. Yesterday, the tank pulled all 4 of them and we were able to just drop dps on all of them, they fell within minutes and no deaths for us. There's some prick still out there though who thinks he's awesome...
Yeah, for sure. It's really baffling when my healer gets grouped with a tank who doesn't even have a taunt on his bar and doesn't get the concept of interrupting, so I end up running round the room trying to avoid agro and AOE and then get slated for not healing.

I'd say so. My healer is definitely capable. I'm feeling more confident in my DPS build now as well.

Molag Kena is a drop from white gold tower. Ain't always guaranteed, especially in divines. I got the head and shoulders but only shoulders are in divine. You'll have to farm for them, I think they drop in normal mode, not sure.Ooh. Nice. Only just seen this, but will have a look-see now.

Yeah, I've replaced those and the weapons with Hunding's Rage, for now. It's the glyphs that I need crafting.
