I wanna get a group together to farm IC sewers for tel var stones.
What can you buy with them? Sets? I'm guessing the best PvE gear is going to come from drops, so the stones will get you PvP orientated gear, maybe...?

Might do some Craglorn later, maybe a DSA run, if you're up for it. I'll be on in about 90 minutes.

Yea PvP gear, I'm after a set for my tank/dps... I'm up for vr16 DSA, still after healer jewellery

I was thinking that, is there middle ground?
Not too sure, I see alot of stam sorcerers running around lately, there's also some good tank builds with heavy armour. I've crafted a full set of julianos heavy armour to try it out but haven't got around to it yet. Tanking is quite effective with my light set up so it should be really good when I switch to heavy.

At the moment I run a destro staff on my first bar and dual swords on my second, you get damage increase on dual wield.

Creating multiple characters was a slog at first but so glad I done it now. So much variety, so many options.

Yea I'm up for dsa or vet daily later.

I'm leveling a NB, best way I've found is to do the daily world boss in Wrothgar and the daily dungeons. Then just find hoards of enemies and whack them with brawler, questing helps too.

Yea Brocky was saying something similar... I have 4 leveled characters now, very capable in their roles. Just slowly optimizing and finalizing builds.

@Brocky PSN fcuked for me, I'm done... Disconnected micro seconds before the boss died, after smashing the shit out of it...

Heard a rumour about weapon ultimates today...

@Brocky have you thought about bidding for a guild trader? If we all pour a load of gold in the bank we could think about hirelings. Start off small in some far out region and start selling stuff. You could request a 5k week fee. I'll drop in 50k if everyone else is willing to get something up and running. I'll also take care of the bidding process too. I've maxed out my other guild stores and need to reduce my inventory.

It's not really something I've thought too much about, other than that it'd be nice to have one. I barely have enough time to do the daily stuff with my two main characters and I still have a tank to level.

How does it work and what sort of cost are we talking?

I'm a bit confused as to the levelling system. In the other Elder Scrolls games I've played, you gain levels by increasing your various skill levels. Am I right in thinking that your overall level is not at all effected by your skill levels and the only way to level is to kill mobs and complete quests?

I can take care of the bidding side of it, all we need is regular contributions of gold, and for people to sell stuff in the guild store. most guilds ask of 5k a week from their members but the start up cost is quite high. We'll need around 100k to bid on a hireling. I can cover the start up costs and sell loads of stuff, we'll need everyone active to start selling and donating gold. Do you want me to start editing the motd to let everyone know?

Basically, you sell an item for say 1k the guild gets 10g listing fee and around 5% of the item sold value. The more people sell, the more money the guild makes and as the items increase in value so does the guild cut. Like I said though, everyone needs to sell and donate regularly, it eventually pays for itself and we can get a regular spot somewhere with good prices and take it from there. My main guild sells on the front trader in wayrest, I made over 200k last week but am pumping shed loads in to get that spot, they're pretty cheap to hire in the outback.

You level your character and skills independently. The more you use a weapon or skill the more you level it. If you never use a weapon, you'll never level it up.

If you want to get it rolling, I'd be happy to chip in 5k p/w and see how it goes. Thing is, I don't really want to force it on people, so you'll have to get agreement from everyone. There are also only around 6-7 of us active, also.

Yeah, that second part I'm used to but the first seems odd, having played Morrowind, Oblivion and Skyrim and being used to that method!

I picked a wood elf because I thought it would be better suited to the sneaky, stealthy style I like but not being able to reach stuff (without having to look directly up) when I'm stealing things is not something I thought about!

Hmm it may be a bit difficult then with only a few of us, it doesn't have to be an enforceable 5k but more like a help us out kinda thing.

Tell you what, I'll put 150k into the bank and bid on trader out in the sticks. If we can get all active members to sell 30 items and win the bid we'll see how it goes. Am I ok to add something in to the message of the day? If we don't win then I get my money back.

I'm leveling a wood elf night blade, I'm having a blast with this build, really enjoying it.

Sounds like work to me Mojo, managing my inventory and crafting is just about the maximum amount of work I'm willing to put up with... I just wanna play :(

I like being a short-arse... my diminutive tank is about the same size as you I think.

Just hopped in with a group and smashed out two normal trials on my healer. Was pretty simple, even with my low health buffer, tbh. Got a couple of bits of VO gear and a bunch of other stuff. We should look to do those.

nice one- yeah defo gonna be up for more stuff when I reach 160.

I've been questing quite a bit so made some decent progress on my CPs should reach it shortly.

Been considering an mmo again, for a while.
Tempted to try this one, since i mainly play on ps4 these days, not pc.
How's this game? Are servers active? How is pvp?
Isn't it a bit shit to communicate in gchat on console? ;)

It's very active. PvP is great fun. Some of the best MMO PvP around, I'd say. It's different to anything else.

Comms is fine, as long as you have a mic and are willing to use it. ;) If not, you can use a keyboard.

@Brocky

I've realised I'll probably never tank on my nightblade - building more towards a Healer with DPS off spec. I was actually a fairly good healer on WoW back in the day for what that's worth.

Could you check the number of mats needed for each of these

Head : Light - Seducer - infused
Shoulders: Light - Seducer - infused
Chest: Heavy - Julianos - infused
Hands : Light - Julianos - infused
Waist : Light - Seducer - infused
Legs : Heavy - Julianos - infused
Feet : Light - Seducer - infused

Sword : Julianos - sharpened
Sword : Julianos - sharpened

Resto Staff : Seducer - powered

I'll get saving!

Any tips for starting to heal in this game? I know nightblade healing is very different from Templar (more 'deal damage to heal' and less utility) but general tips?

One Tamriel is looking good. Loads of daily quests, 30 new crafting motifs, guaranteed monster masks from pledges and able to scale up final dungeon bosses for gold loot. Looking forward to seeing this.

A 140 set will cost you nothing. A 150 set, around 120 Ancestor Silk. A 160 set, around 1,200.

Wouldn't know where to start with a NB healer. I'm sure it can be done, but I'd imagine that you'd be most effective in a trials group, alongside a Templar healer, where you'd be doing constant damage and therefore a sustained stream of HOT....but in small group situations, you will lack burst healing.

If I were to get this, how long would it take me to get to a level where I could be playing with you guys?

Pretty much straight away. I have a low-ish level character that I am levelling and it wouldn't be too long before we could carry you through dungeons, which will help level you up quicker and get you decent gear. I can also craft you a set with the training trait, which will help speed things up further.

Sweet!

Probably won't get it right away as the new Destiny expansion's coming out on the 20th, but after that if I get bored with it I might be up for joining up with you guys.

@Anustart89 - You'd need to make sure that you picked the Aldmeri Dominion faction, though. That limits you to three races, but you can buy an add-on that allows any race in any faction. I got it and it's definitely worth it, imo.

Good to know. I'll probably ask you to help me get started if I decide to get it.

They're releasing a gold version soon which comes with base game and all dlc content. Daggerfall is where its at, btw.
