Fcuk me people are vr16 already?
I think they are all PC gamers who transferred their stats. I've been playing quite a fair bit and am only Level 3, though I've been doing a lot of crafting lately and getting materials for clothing and wood working. I'm not sure if there's any point though as I have 1 skill point left and levelling up in veteran takes absolutely ages.

Anyway, my point for bumping the thread was to see if anyone is doing the daily dungeons and more importantly the Trials. I can't for the life of me get on a trial as the queuing system doesn't seem to match me up with anyone. If anyone wants to do the dailies or the veteran trials on PS4 let me know.

I'm still on the road to vr, soon as I get there I'll be up for it

Cool thanks man. Dont know if you've been in Cyrodil lately but its mental

It's packed with players now. When I first hit lvl 10 I took the time to go there, in my noobishness I thought I was stuck there and was playing PVP for weeks on end with what were basically empty servers, you'd get the odd battles now and again. Now there's battles galore, probably at any given time there's a good 200 players from all factions trying to take a keep. It's pretty mental when you knock the walls down and then another faction show up. You need good internet connection though, it can lag out quite badly and you get booted back to the main menu. Can be a pain in the arse sometimes.

I haven't done any PvP for ages, I might be up for some after the game tonight

Alright I'm gonna do a few maps in the next couple of posts for locations of Skyshards, Lorebooks etc if anyone is interested.

Not sure if anyone knows but you can reset your attribute points and skill points at the Altar of Mara (I think it's called). I didn't know that until yesterday, I believe there's one altar per faction area. It's pretty useful if you are settled with a class set up and you want all your wasted ones back to use on things like wood working or something or if you want to try a different skill line.

Altar of Mara is for getting hitched. It's the Shrine of Stendarr to respec. For Aldmeri Dominion, there's one just on the inside-right of the main entrance to Elden Root, Grahtwood.

I checked it last night, for the Daggerfall Covenant it's called the Shrine of Mara located in Stormhaven, there are three altars and you can reset your skill points, attribute points and morph abilities. I'm currently doing Cadwell's silver and am going through the Aldmeri storyline.

I made a smoking hot female healer last night for the Aldmeri Dominion, it was like Weird Science, I'm not sure if I have the heart to grind another character up to veteran though. Just hit V4 on my main one but being a Sorcerer (Damage) makes it hard to get into the group dungeons, everyone wants Tanks and Healers in their group.

Shrine to Mara is for getting hitched. That's the same for all factions.

Aldmeri Dominion - SP reset: Shrine to Stendarr in Elden Root, Grahtwood. - Attribute Reset: Shrine to Auriel, Elden Root
Ebonheart Pact - SP reset: Shrine to Stuhn is in Mournhold, Deshaan. - Attribute Reset: Shrine to Kyne, Mournhould
Daggerfall Covenant - SP reset: Shrine to Stendarr is in Wayrest, Stormhaven. - Attribute Reset: Shrine to Akatosh, Wayrest

Ah right, but the building is called Shrine to Mara right? I've seen a few of them with this name but only the ones with the three altars in can you reset your stuff.

No. Shrine of Mara is just the shrine you use to get hitched. You need a Ring of Mara and you use it at the shrine with another character. Both characters then receive rings which, when worn, give XP buffs to each character when questing together.

Shrine of Stendarr (Shrine of Stuhn for Ebonheart Pact) resets skill points.

Shrine of Auriel / Kyne / Akatosh resets attribute points.

It'd be worth having an Aldmeri Character. @afrocentricity still plays and I think I am going to start playing again, now that MGSV is loosening it's grip on me. We've got a guild with bank and store. I have a level 12 Tank character that I need to level up, so i'd be happy to run some low level stuff with you. I also have DPS, Healer and a dedicated crafter. Afro also has one or two of each type of character around VR1, or so.

Man this game is so deep it's incredible. I didn't even know about that. I think I could literally play this for years to come and still not know everything.

This is my first game in the series and I really don't know much about the other roles etc or the overall background. When people ask me what my DPS is I go all nooby and ignore them because I don't know what it means. I'm pretty good at the combat side of things but the overall knowledge of the game I'm seriously lacking in. I've scoured many forums to read up but I don't think they take too kindly to noobs so I'm just posting my findings in this thread, those maps I posted, you'll be hard pressed to find all those in one place on the internet ;)

No problem, I'm gonna keep this thread updated with more stuff like that in future. I forgot to do the cyrodil and craglorn ones today, I'll do them tomorrow.

Created my first legendary item yesterday. If you get into Cyrodiil there are elite clothier vendors who sell stuff that is much stronger than it's rank item suggests and you buy them through Alliance Points rather than the Gold you earn from Quests and Dungeons. I'm Vet 8 and bought a Vet 6 Robe that had 200+ better armour than my Epic Vet 8 robe, if you get the complete set (5) you'll be well on your way to wrecking shit above your rank level. I blew a load of coins on Dreugh Wax and made it up to Legendary, that seems to be the costliest thing. Alliance Points are quite easy to get and you should accumulate around 30K (Cost of Elite Gear) in around 2 hours.

Thought I'd necro this thread, seeing as @afrocentricity and I are playing again.

Had a few good dungeon runs last night with some randoms, but it'd be cool to team up with a couple of Caftards, if there are any still playing.

@Damien - You up for giving it another shot?
@Mojo_ - You still playing?

Yeah I'll be back in a day or two sorry. Just had big problems sleeping of late and don't really want to end up falling asleep at the PS4 :D Will join you all when I'm better

I've been teaming up with randoms almost everyday since the game came out. I can go through some dungeons with you all, hopefully trials too, not too sure on that last one as I'm in Daggerfall. I hope you boys made stamina classes because magika sorcerers are pretty much pummelled in this game, not too bad in PVE but PVP they are screwed.

You may have noticed that the Vet ranks have gone too and you level up through the Championship Point system. I'm about to fire it up now, I won't have my mic on though. MojoRisin29 if you want to add me.

I've maxed out on most crafting too so if there's anything you need I can craft it, glyphs, weapons, armour, potions, whatever.

Do you have a guild? I can join and dump bucket loads of stuff in the bank if you want.

Yea there's a guild, add me or @Brocky

Deffo up for attempting a trial, all my characters are at cap now,

finally. How many do we need for a decent attempt?

We're in Aldmeri.

My main - level 50 DPS archer Nightblade - was a stamina build, but I've not really played him too much since coming back, as I had all my SP reset and I need to figure my build out again.

I have a level 44 healer that I'm currently grinding to get to 50 and then I'll get him decked out in a Seducer set. He's currently using a few combat skills, as I need to finish the story, but I have a dedicated healer build figured out for when he's 50. We did a few dungeons over the last couple of days and I'm actually enjoying playing healer, tbh.

I also have a level 50 crafter who is a couple of points from being maxed. An hour of looking for Sky Shards will sort that.

I still need to look into how the Champion Points work.

Feel free to dump some stuff in the bank but we've got a whole bunch of stuff in there that I'm likely just going to sell to free up space. If you've got any weapons or gear that I can deconstruct for XP, that'd be sweet. There are a couple of traits I need as well, so I might hit you up for those at some point.

We need 12 to for a Trial, may need to be all one faction too :( . I have some really low level Aldmeri characters that I could level up I suppose but I'm not sure if I have the heart for such a grind to be honest. I'm currently on level 412 with my Sorcerer. Saying that I have the Thieves Guild and Dark Brotherhood quests to do, I'm about a quarter of the way into the DB quests and I must say it's the best DLC drop they've done so far. I think I have a Nightblade and Dragonknight to choose from, probably go with the Nightblade due to the huge buffs on stam classes.

I sent you a friend request last night and also requested to join the Red Cafe PS4 group. Once you accept my FR invite me to your Guild and I'll take all my good stuff out of my current guild and dump it in. I have researched 9 traits on most light armour so I can craft almost every set in the game for any level. I'm working through Medium and Heavy at the moment and am up to 8 on some pieces (9 on dual wield swords).

When i say at cap I mean 50 btw. The fact that CP are account wide is great. Killed the grind for me, I'm just casually going about stuff now, dailies etc...

Yeah, I ended up crashing out not long after getting in from work last night. I'll definitely be on tonight at around 20:00.

I only need a couple of traits in medium and heavy armour. I will likely have some I can pass on to you. I think I need maybe one in light. Weapons - the useful ones, at least - are pretty much maxed.

Alright cool, just raided my guild bank so I have loads of stuff to dump in yours

Is it just caftards in this guild? I don't mind dropping my stuff in as long as some random doesn't make off with it all and sells it.

Created an AD character. Drainy1986 for the add please
Added you, bud.

Sweet.

I'm missing a few more traits than I thought.

Traits I need:-
Robe - well fitted
Shoes - impenetrable
Gloves - prosperous
Hat - well fitted & impenetrable
Breeches - well fitted & prosperous
Sash - impenetrable, reinforced, prosperous

Jack - infused
Helmet - impenetrable
Guards - sturdy, infused, divines
Belt - divines

Cuirass - divines
Sabatons - infused & divines
Gauntlets - sturdy & prosperous
Helm - divines
Pauldron - divines
Girdle - prosperous

There are few that still play, but only Caftards or people I trust have access.
Ok cool, I've raided 2 guilds and my own bank and put loads of stuff in to learn and craft. Thought you and afro may not have the xivkin and Mercenary sets. I'll go and craft you what I can from that list, I've got the nirnhoned trait too but you'll have to get the nirncrux , I'm running low on cash at the moment.
