Gaming Elder Scrolls Online | PS4 Guild on ESO:TU recruiting members (Aldmeri Dominion) - currently at 31

feck, dunno whether to carry on with this character or change now.

You've really fecked me here Brocky.
 Sorry, bud. There are a few instances of me mentioning it in here, though.

@Damien - Maybe update the title? PS4 guild recruiting Aldmeri Dominion characters. Or maybe it's worth a dedicated guild thread....ala FIFA Clubs....?

Was going to play just now, but had to download another stupid update of 1.5gb. I'm starting to think this isn't a game for dirty casuals like me!

Started a Khajiit DK to play Aldmeri!
Cool. Both @afrocentricity and I have low level characters we're thinking of leveling up whilst we wait for other guild members to catch up to our main characters, so we could run together and turbo level, if you like. Depends if you don't mind missing the storyline side of things.

At least it wasn't as big as the last monstrosity!

Afro - Did you do the re-install thing? I don't know whether it's just the new patch, but my game feels really laggy and sometimes abilities won't activate and then three will go at the same time after a few attempts. Also, graphical effects don't show and stuff.

I should be on for a bit this evening if anyone wants to help me out a bit. I think I'm around level 13.

My character is level 6 and I think afro is just about to create a new one. Running with you on reletively high level missions will level us up quick.

I'll be on around 19:15, or so.

Should be on later, brocky just delete game save data, around 10 meg. Pretty painless procedure

I have a Vampire bite ready, if anyone wants 'The Gift'...?

I'll have a Werewolf bite in around six days, but there are already two or three people in the queue for that.

Also, we're getting to the stage where we could really do with a guild store. However, we need another eighteen or so members. If anyone has the game - even if they don't play so much, it'd really help us out if you jump in - and are on the EU server, then shoot me a friend request and mention The Caf'. Feel free to invite friends, also. PSN:- Brocky36

Nice, how did you manage to get both in the first place and what are the pros/cons of being vampire/werewolf?

Randomly got Werewolf after loading in at a Reaper's March wayshrine. I didn't even realise I had been scratched until around an hour or so later. Once I realised, I remembered seeing and hearing a Werewolf as I loaded in. I also saw a spurt of blood. I guess I just thought it was a player, at the time, and ran off to stab some stuff in the face. It was weird.

For Vampire, Kate and I had been at a known spawn spot with 6-7 other people for around 20 minutes. We got bored. She logged off and I just stumbled across a pair of Blood Fiends as I was going to my next mission.

Got them within two days of eachother.

Don't even need to be AD really...

Good point. Edited my post.
Liking my melee dps at the moment, all roles seem to be balanced. There's not a roll that I've disliked yet and I can't tell you which one I prefer. Are you going straight for veteran or you going to hang around for the rest of us?

I could've had Vet weeks ago, tbh. I've not been playing my Nightblade (48). My crafter is 45 now, as I've been playing him to rank up Vampire. I think I'll just keep going into Vet with him, to get a feel for the Champion Points system. My healer is still only 33.

System will be ready for VR1 in a day or two, I think. I'm not sure what level Kate's at. 43, or so.... but she's the one we're waiting on.

Cool I have 3 characters at 41, I'll get back on those once Kate comes back

Was just in Auridon and saw someone dancing naked (in just their underwear) on a pillar with "Everybody dance now" blasting through their speaker. I joined in with the dancing and so did another random.

I must suck at this but the quest where you have to defeat the leaders of the veiled inheritance is hard. Nenaronald just destroys me.

I honestly can't remember that bit though it sounds familiar. Looks like a few have had similar trouble with him:

All I can say is try leveling up a bit more. There are a few quests I've had trouble with but don't seem so hard after going up a few levels and having better equipment.

Level 9, he's level 11. It's a bit odd this game and feels unbalanced with the levelling and where to get quests and such. I feel like I'm in a big world but there isn't much depth at times.

It's possibly your setup, at the lower levels its feasible to complete orange quests, I've been completing red quests since lvl30. I get what you mean tho, it's trickier when you first start. What's your psnid?

silentwitness4

Aye maybe. I did a couple of quests and got to level 10, went back and then completely destroyed him, so must have been doing something wrong.

Yeah it can be a bit of a slog at the start. You can earn level rep by just exploring the map, new areas and wayshrines will give you a boost. Ask these fine fellows from Aldmeri to sort you out some cash to get a horse if you don't already have one. Just run around for a bit. Every mission you do on the main story will also gain you a skill point so you can purchase more magic abilities.

I started out as a Breton in the Daggerfall Covenant and am now Guild level 2, I'm hoping I can switch to Aldmeri once I defeat Molag Bal as I have completed all the quests for Daggerfall. Should have the main story done tonight, I thought I'd have finished it last night but the last few missions take quite a while.

Anyone finished the main story? What happens next?

Aye, doing alright now as you say, it's just a bit of a slow burner. Good fun though.

If anyone is able to add me to the guild my character name is Kakáo.

Added you mate, Guilds actually getting quite active...

Just defeated Molag Bal. It opens up the other factions missions.

That final mission is kind of epic

Especially how OP you end up feeling...

What level were you?
Well I kinda forgot about the main story so I ended up completing all the side quests first , I finished it on level 50 or veteran 1. Once you hit veteran there are other skill points to earn plus you open up the veteran dungeons, they are solid but really good fun.

Thanks. I'm miles away from being at that stage. There really is tonnes of content. A benefit of it being out already for a year and being under subscription for most of that time.

Is it normal to not be able to find anyone to go into dungeons? Need to do the banished cell dungeon but can't find anyone.

Just stand around outside banished cells and you'll be grouped in no time, also queue up in the lfg tool...

Managed to find a group today but for two days there was nothing and I was on in the evening and afternoon for a large amount of hours each. Level 1-12 was just a big grind for me I think but I'm starting to enjoy the game a lot more now.

I hope you left your consoles in rest mode fellas...19Gb update waiting. I have 4Gb to go :(
