Gaming Elder Scrolls Online | PS4 Guild on ESO:TU recruiting members (Aldmeri Dominion) - currently at 31

@Damien @afrocentricity @freshibal - I've just been watching a stream of a group of 5-6 guys PvP-ing. They were at an enemy keep, using stealthy guerrilla style tactics to ambush 1-3 man groups and then when bigger groups came out they back off a little, go dark and then pick off anything that strayed away from the pack. It looked like great fun. We're a way off that yet, but I'm thinking that's the kinda stuff we should do once we hit Cyrrodil.

Oh yes, sounds familiar :D

Mine's not having it haha. Paused and unpaused about 20 times so far and it's getting a maximum of 100kb/s. I usually download at about 1.5mb/s. Shame really!
Keep trying. It will eventually. It just took me about forty attempts or more to get it to kick up for my last 10% or so. Got it from 7 hours to under two minutes.

Spent around two hours waiting for the patch last night. Finally got it done, logged in and then fell asleep not long after.

I'll be on at around 21:00 tonight. Gonna spend some time on my Nightblade and get him past level 15. I've got my abilities set for my build now and just need to get a couple morphed. Those links you posted really helped, @afrocentricity. Cheers.

Anyone fancy a dungeon on Auridon, or something?

Download is stuck at 42 hours remaining no matter how many times I pause and unpause. This is ridiculous.

Do you like sword and sorcery? Is basically Skyrim/Oblivion/Morrowind but online, I think it's great.

Lads I can make Superior/blue glyths, Lvl 1-20 potions and Lvl 1-20 provisions so holla at ya boy...

So I've restarted the router, paused and unpaused the download about 50+ times and still can't get anything faster than 45 hours left to download 10gb.

This is ridiculous, the other download was so quick. Its only that download too, others are going at the normal speed.

I'd imagine that, with the green/blue and beyond glyphs, skills are required to apply them.

Did you suss out if you can do that life-steal one i was after for my resto-staff? A blue one of those would be sweet.
Don't think you need to be skilled to apply them. I've got no more health runes (oko). As soon as one turns up I'll do you a weapon glyph to absorb health.

Found another two pieces of 'set' gear last night. I now have a medium helm, a heavy helm and a shield. They're all from different sets, though. Might be up for a trade if someone picks up another piece of the medium set. I can't recall the name of it. I'll post it tonight. :)

Really enjoyed that last night. Even though the enemies scaled up to 16, felt much easier than last time. Don't know whether that's because we knew what we were doing more this time, or whether that ultimate(?) ability which had the red thing come out of the ground healing(?) us made things a lot more easier. Liked that even though a few of us were doing it for a second time, the rewards were still satisfying and scaled up too. Got some decent stuff for my alt.

Aye, it was fun. I think that, if Bethesda's method of increasing the difficulty is based around making the team think and work together, rather than just increasing enemy HP and damage output to stupid levels, I will enjoy the challenge of running these dungeons more than I did Destiny's raids.

That ultimate of Afro's is pretty wicked. When we did the first attempt, I was only using three abilities, none were morphed and I had no ultimate. Now that I've got a good setup, there's a hugely noticeable difference in not only my survivability and damage output, but also in the way that I'm able to help the group. It's quite difficult to notice what others are doing but, from my point of view, stopping casters with Poison Arrow, staggering melee units away from the fight and being able to lock down three or four of those little Scamps with Prolonged Suffering was really taking pressure off the tank and really making an overall difference....whereas before, I was just running round trying to stay alive and taking random shots at stuff when I could.

We all were mate :D

Can you make me a blade with training trait? Lvl 7-8 would be cool...

Ok so I entered a PvP lobby and now realise I'm stuck in there for 3 fecking months!!! Can't play the normal game or do any dungeons :(

It can be quite fun though when attacking a fort. Pain in the ass when you die though and the nearest waypoint is miles away

You can play the normal game. Find a wayshrine and teleport. There was one on the 14 day version I was doing anyway.

Don't think I can do that, I'll check later when I get on. I seem to be leveling up faster than the normal game and am now getting to grips with the magic side of stuff. Should be quite proficient in a year or two

I went into PvP for a bit but all the abilities and stuff on this character are close combat related so I end up getting pulverised by passers by. Will try it again at some point in future but not in a big rush

I only went in to try it out, it probably warned me (a few times) I was entering a 3 month lobby but you know what its like, just keep pressing x. It's hit and miss, when there's loads of players on its good but when it's empty it's shite

Only did the tutorial then bailed, ended up doing all the t1 dungeons. How are your healers coming along? Want to give mine a rest, my tank wants to have a go at the t1 dungeons...

Are you guys in the Aldmeri covenant?

I have bought this today, it's still downloading.

I shall no doubt spend most of my first day selecting an appropriate hairstyle and adjusting cheekbones.

I made a character in the aldmeri covt. Can maybe get two other lads on board, I'll have to level up first, been getting my son to boost it when I'm not playing.

@Mojo_ - Add me on PSN - Brocky36 (mention the caf) - and I will send you a guild invite later.

BTW, you mean Aldmeri Dominion, right? It's the one with the eagle logo. The *something I can't recall* Covenant is a different faction.

@afrocentricity @Damien @freshibal - I have decided to streamline my research to just a few weapons for the time being, as keeping every version of weapons and gear for every trait is seriously crippling my bank and inventory space. Keep putting stuff in the guild bank, as I can deconstruct it for the XP and materials. If there's a particular weapon with a particular trait you want, then send me one and I'll do it....but, for now, I am just focusing on Sword, Greatsword, Dagger - Bow, Resto Staff & Shield.

I'm still struggling with medium armour. It appears that traits other than 'Well-Fitted' & 'Sturdy' are quite rare, so keep an eye out for those, please.

Sure thing, I wanted to blast through it this week. Bloody Werewolf game on here is taking over my life at the moment. I'll hopefully get levelling up soon. My mate has a guild set up and told him I know of another with a few members so he's up for jumping ship. I'll add you tonight.
MojoRisin29 for info.
