EFL Cup 24/25 Semi-Finals

I don't think I've ever been as certain of a team being 3-0 up after 30 minutes as much in my life then this game tonight. Liverpool will have this won by half time with Spurs bottling it early on

Would love a Newcastle- spurs final. Both without trophy’s for like the last 15+ years

Anything less that a two goal margin win for Liverpool tonight will be a big surprise. Big Ange will be gone after the two cup defeats this week.

I wouldn't be so sure. Liverpool are starting with their reserve keeper, some academy player at right back and the donkey up front while Diaz, Jota and MacAllister are all benched. I would put my money on Spurs.

Liverpool's backup goalie would be a starter for Spurs (and a lot of other prem sides, including Chelsea and Man United) and that "academy player at right back" is the reason no Liverpool fans give a shit that TAA is going to Madrid.

Very true. Both excellent players.

Interested to see how Spurs approach this. An early goal for them would be a blow to us. But do they want to open up that much?

Have you ever known Mate's Spurs to do anything other than open up?

I've been waiting all season for Liverpool to have a dip. Hasn't happened so far, and I doubt it will now.

Anyway, this is an easy Liverpool win. 4-1.

How the feck isn't that a red card for intent if nothing else? That's unbelievable.

Commentators making every excuse there for VVD. It was only a jab of the elbow, not a sweep

I love how the contact to Richarlson is below the chin and he is rolling on the floor holding his face.

Still a dangerous thing for van Dijk to do.

the force of it would have knocked his jaw up into his face.
