I did see a few where city fans said they wouldn't swap him for De Gea. Seemed mental at the time.Show me one post where anyone says he's better than DDG please (bluemoon doesn't count).
Yeah I guess that’s generally the test of top Gks. Not doing anything for 89mins and needing to keep your concentration for that 1 shot. Most goalkeepers at top sides find themselves in that position. When he has been called upon he has been good though, especially compared to the shitshow they had in goals last season.

Saying Bluemoon doesn’t count is silly. They are actual City ‘fans’ and they were stating that he was better than De Gea, after 6 months.

And there were United fans saying Rashford is better than Sane on here.... their are blinkered fans everywhere. The reality is 99% of City fans said DDG is a better keeper.
I'm not sitting ratching through posts on here as I have a life, but plenty of people in the real world and twitter have said it for the past few months.
Honestly can't say I've heard or seen a single one outside of a couple of numpties on Bluemoon.
It's different but DDG's distribution is incredible too in the right system. We'll see if that opinion still holds if Ederson makes mistakes like these in the CL knockouts.Thats different to being better, most City fans explained why. We will dominate 90% of games, we don't need a DDG in those, we need an Ederson. It isn't because Ederson is better, its because he is what we need 90% of the time.

First time hes been tested and hes been shit.
It's games like this where I think the sweeper keeper is hugely overrated and largely unnecessary. You just don't need your last line of defence taking any sort of risk.
It's not just Ederson. Neuer and Lloris have also conceded goals where the ball has just been looped in to an empty goal because they've taken a risk and not played it to safety. Why is Ederon trying to play that ball to a team mate there, instead of just lashing it high and hard? Either smash it up the pitch or in to the stands, or at least let it hang in the air to give you a few seconds to get back. A low ball there is moronic.
Pick your moment to play the ball, it doesn't have to be every time you have it.
Seen it said a few times on the FM forums, but generally most reasonable City fans are sensible enough about it.Honestly can't say I've heard or seen a single one outside of a couple of numpties on Bluemoon.
Like some people actually believe that he's better than De Gea! How? fecking lunatics!
No one (apart from some City fans) believes this.
He has the attributes that are required for a Guardiola team though.
Apparently this guy is “well hard” according to Kyle Walker. He went down like a sack of shit when Arnautovic went body to body and soft hands for the Cresswell freekick.
I wonder how Kyle Walker defines hard? I struggle to think of any current footballer that could be classed as "hard", let's face it all these guys are soft as shit, tattoos don't make someone hard.
I think a lot of football players could make good fighters if they trained. All you need is a winning mentality, an aptitude towards technique in dynamic movement and a disregard for your own safety. A lot of footballers have these qualities.

He's had a good first season at City. He'll get (even) better. He’s a good keeper but hardly elite tier. Buffon must have been smoking some exotic stock to rate him higher than De Gea.

He looks like some kind of weird alien from Star Wars.
