He is the best option from the names we've been linked with in my view (including Ugarte), but I'd want a more credible source.
He was one of Atalanta's best players in both legs against Liverpool in the Europa, never gave Mac Allister or Szoboszlai a second to breathe. Was very good in the final against Leverkusen too.
Proper all-rounder with a hell of an engine on him. He seems at least decent at basically everything and runs until he drops. He was still making runs into the Liverpool box after 90 minutes of sprinting around nullifying their midfield at Anfield.

Amazed we havent gone in for him long before now. He was a joy to watch last year in the Europa. He was the best player on the pitch not named Ademola Lookman in the final.
There’s a release clause but it keeps changing. So god knows how much it is. But I don’t think they will be demanding £50m. There probably surprised no approach has come in.
We probably have a decent relationship with Atlanta based on the Hojlund and Amad deals. Unfortunately in both cases we were forced to pay a bit of a premium relative to their realistic value at that point.

What is the release clause (if there's one), cause this is a non-starter he'd cost like 80 million.

You don’t necessarily if both midfielders truly share the load.
Ugarte, Zubimendi and Ederson look like they are valued at similar amounts - they are probably all out of reach for United, unless McTominay is sold (and even then, might be a significant stretch).
Yeah this isn't happening muppets, don't get your hopes up. Too late in the window, Atalanta will demand more than PSG for Ugarte at this point
There has been no solid link guys, this one was dead on arrival.
Watched him against Real the other day, really wish we would go in for him. Think he would be a perfect addition to our midfield, really bringing balance to it. Better than Ugarte in my book.

I don’t believe that for a second. We definitely do have funds and I’m sure there will be a midfielder coming in before the window closes.
We could easily pay PSGs asking price for Ugarte too but we’re not paying that cuz of how much we value him at, not cuz we don’t have the funds.
