This will be the first fifa (easportsfc) that I haven't bought, almost ever. The player evolutions looks like another money spinner for them, using fifa points to upgrade, so it'll become even more pay to win. I've just finally had enough. I had FIFA 96 back in the day, but at last enough is enough after threatening it for the past couple of years. Its a shame as i have a few close PS mates i won't party with much now, but the bug ridden match engine and temperamental gameplay hasn't been fixed, like they said a new brand name would. Its the same old shit with a new name. feck those cnuts.

It's just an extension to making the unrealistic nonsense the main feature of the game.
I mean it's a loot-box heavy mode for deranged children where they can put Pele up front alongside Mark Noble if they fancy it. I don't think adding women to it is that crazy.
That's what I mean though, they're just making it more and more unrealistic and nonsensical while still focusing on that as the main part of the game. It's as much nonsense to have VVD as a striker and playing like prime Zlatan as it is to have Haaland vs a souped up Millie Bright and being outpaced and out muscled by her.
I'd much rather they focus on career mode and the WSL etc. in terms of both the men and womens side but there won't even be a womens career mode option. I'd do away with fifa points and loot boxes in games if I could, I hate them.
It'll be funny watching sexist manchildren throw a tantrum when they get girls in their card packs. I've already seen one from a popular moronic streamer that I won't post here.

The thing is that I don't get how they will balance the stats to make them realistic, mainly the physical stats. Regardless of that, it just feels a step too far into fantasy for me.
It's one thing having icons mixed with current players, and some of these other crazy promos, but I see a lot of people complaining about adding the women's players. I get why EA did it, they want to represent the women's football, which is great. But they know nobody will touch a women's ultimate team if it was a separate offering.
Realism in Fifa, or EAFC is long gone. By Halloween we'll have Giovinco with 99 strength or something stupid like that. To me the gameplay has to good, couldn't care less about women being added but if the gameplay is at least consistent then that's a win for me, setting the bar real high
All the other stuff goes out the window after a week or two once the meta has been figured out and everyone tries to do their best be a fifa pro impression. Nothing worse for me then playing a game and then the next game is completely different i'd take decent gameplay with less lag and they could do a cash grab promo every day for all i care.
Just heard they've gotten rid of the loyalty packs so that makes the web app near useless. Shame was probably one of the better things about a new year, trying to build a team and climb the divisions with the randoms you pack.

What were the aspects of the gameplay that you didn't like in particular? I played Fifa 23 for about 3 months and I'd already built a team with the players I target by the end of the game (Cantona, Socrates (My FIFA favourite as nobody uses him), Best). So I got bored and stopped playing, but I can't remember much about the gameplay really.
Do you struggle with lag? That's one thing I barely ever encountered. I have decent broadband so that may be a reason.
The gameplay once everyone figures out the broken mechanics just make the game feel like you're playing the same player over and over again it's tedious but not really EA's fault they've always had things like that in their games that not my main issue.
For me it's the delay that you get once the servers get heavy traffic. I reffered to it before as lag it's not that. I didn't get speed up delay once last year but the amount of times you go into a game and you would feel like you're playing a whole new game from the last is crazy. I can deal with the 5 atb, cut backs, El Tornados and trivela shots but i would at least hope that when i press X to pass the game actually responds.
EA should just go all out with the silliness and turn it into a gta online meets rocket league with a dash of association football.

To be honest they are not that far off it. They don't have the rocket bike but when you have Maldini green time a trivela from 30 yards out and hit the griddy on you you're going to feel some type of way. As for the racial slurs can't say i've had many of them but i've been invited Liverpool to have a scrap after beating a lad once, good times.

When someone packs 5'2" Fran Kirby and comes up against most other midfields;
They found the perfect way to make the packs more expensive without really increasing their price. The odds of getting the player you want decreases with the amount of new players added which in turn makes people buy more packs. Profit.
Apparently the Switch version will no longer be legacy edition (so basically like FIFA 18 with new squads) but a proper one, looking forward to that.

The devs? Oh I'm sure some of them want to be creative. Unfortunately they're owned by a publisher, and every single one of them working there wants another yacht. And their shareholders also want more yachts. And now the devs are looking at all these yachts and thinking "Why shouldn't I have a yacht as well...?"

I only play career mode. I can’t find endrick or roque on it ? I was hoping to get those 2 bastards transferred in.
They can't put Pele in because not that many people can afford him and the odds of pulling him in a pack are miniscule.
I also find it bonkers that you can't use these players in an offline mode for your own enjoyment. Who is that harming? It might be fun for me to try and recreate a team full of amazing 90s players but I'll never know cause I'm not grinding my willpower to dust to potentially get them in packs.

It's been like that for about 5 years now. But Ultimate Edition doesn't just allow access to the game a week early, it also means you get 4600 FIFA points.
At the end of the day EA is a business and Ultimate Team is a cash cow. Blame the people that are will to pay for it. That is capitalism and if there is a demand for it, the supply will continue.

Played the whole day in Rivals....its exactly the same game as last year just with some visual updates to the menus. Literally the exact same game.
You’re right but it was about 3 days and normally Tuesday to Friday. You didn’t really care about it releasing early during the week.
