He can play deep playmaker or attacking mid so yeah would be good cover for a couple of positions.

Mate, he is miles better than any of them. He's a brilliant player who could easily play in our first eleven too. He was set to go to Real Madrid but theyve got financial issues.

Ziyech is better than him and would actually walk into our first team, rather than squad player. I don't get the club at times.

Think that make us a bit one dimensional. Our full backs don't give us much width and a diamond makes us too predictable.

Oh maybe because I am Dutch, have ajax season ticket holders as friends and have watched their team a few times live. I have a clear opinion on him but I am too lazy for a writeup. Again, I will be proven right over time soon enough. Easy.
Note also how two other dutch posters in this thread have been lukewarm about his position in our team.
Ziyech is 4 years older than DVB and is significantly worse than Sancho for the same position.
DVB for his position is much better than Ziyech was at the same age.
He's better than the first 3 you've mentioned.
I am not sure about him for us. I think he would end up mostly an understudy for Pogba or Bruno, which is fine as long as we are upgrading our first team as well, but otherwise...
You are right, Ziyech is mostly a RW (who can play AM) and we have no one there. So he would be for the first team.
