Donald Trump - GUILTY!

Nope, the first amendment allows him (and anyone else) to say such things outside the courtroom

Not really. He has a gag order to speak about members of the court members and others.

Freedom of speech and expression doesn't mean you can insult anybody you want without consequences. Especially police and judges.
If I called a judge a crook, there would be another case against me.

The gag order only prevents certain comments, not all of them, no doubt he's already breached it, but unless it was something really serious nothing will happen because if he was sanctioned he would appeal and delay proceedings even further

But that is exactly what @B. Munich says and you corroborate that he already breached it. 1st ammendment doesnt cover everything and there are limits

although no expert in Anglo-American law, this Trump case was civil, hence no criminal sanctions. Hoeneß was criminal law.
I'm not familiar with Anglo American law either.
Still I would have thought, if somebody is found guilty of serious fraud, it will have also some criminal implications. Or am I wrong here?
Because Trump was adjudged to have fraudulently valued his assets, it now opens him up to criminal charges for those same acts. Supposedly the possibility of charging him for tax fraud is in the works. This judgment was civil, so no criminal implications, but he easily could find himself facing criminal charges for decades of tax fraud, like our boy Al Capone.

A US citizen can say anything they want, anywhere anytime, and the 1st amendment protects that person from having the government interfere or regulate that speech, or punish them for those statements. That does not mean the person will not be fired from their job, pilloried on Facebook, or held in contempt of court, because the 1st amendment does not shield them from facing consequences, it only shields them from the government punishing them.

Sorry, but I just found this too funny.

Eric Trump is such a fecking dipshit. I love that Trump's idiot children are going to get their inheritance taken away, and the only "asset" they ostensibly can still peddle is the Trump name, which is now synonymous with fraud, rape, and tackiness.

How many buildings did he actually build ?

Thanks for the clarification. So in that case, the 1st ammendment doesnt protect trump from the consequences of what he says in relation to his cases in internet if a judge considers it. He cant be punished by the government because 1A but he can be punished by a judge

And is not even real, should be Drumft

Yep like everything else Trump much bunch of hot air. A lot of it is tax evasion and money laundering of over valuing the random spaces his owns in these buildings, many of them it's disputed he even owns anything at all, and a lot of them have dropped the name all together. Many other people and corporations in NYC with far larger portfolios and also many who have actually built a lot more.

The civil case happened because someone decided not to prosecute criminally, it's unlikely that he'll face criminal charges on this matter now

And the civil case has been decided against Trump, providing a roadmap for anyone desiring to file new charges. This makes it easier, not harder, to charge him with tax evasion. They are probably weighing the merits of charging him now before the election. If he were ruled ineligible to be in certain ballots, they’d probably feel more confident of having their work not vacated or shut down by a Trump presidency. It could still happen because he has clearly committed tax fraud now.

These were/are State charges, Trump can't shut them down, President or not, it's all moot anyway, if he doesn't get sent to jail in his other cases then we won't get sent down for this

Wtf???

Trump launches gold high top sneaker line a day after $350m court ruling

Biden's team need to get hold of this and run it on every chanel every hour from now until the election

Only if most of the media are willing to do the right thing and attack Trump in the same way most German media have pummeled the AfD since the discovery of that party's mass deportation plans. Instead of treating Trump like any "normal" presidential candidate, they should spend countless hours in destroying the motherfecker and perhaps even push people to mass protest against him.

It won’t happen. “News” media in this country is a profit business and there is no profit to be made on exposing the truth.

Either you also rock with Bo Burnham or you’re pretty damn creative. In any case, I will take this as an excuse to post this:

Well I quite enjoyed that but surely you've heard of Ice Cube?
