As expected. Good pick. Overmars is one of the spirit of the draft picks. Not too many great players in his roster, despite the big teams he has played for. Would have been interesting if Vieira was already picked.
Seriously, they have had along with Sinister the best luck so far, even in the rut they got to pick Sindelar and Bican.EAP and Enigma end up with Gullit and Rijkaard after all that drama.

Honestly, did you expect anything different? This was bound to happen after coming out of the dungeon and the first few pickers are obviously going to be huge beneficiaries.
Hopefully, we can make them sweat in the next few rounds as long as its not too late
Cheers man. I actually had a shortlist of 6 or 7 players from Overmars that I'd have been very happy to pick. Not much to choose between them in terms of quality, so I opted for the position that I felt was going to be trickiest to fill.

Was available to me too. Was torn between him and Overmars and took over 30 mins to decide. The latter suited my team more. Sigh.
It's sickened me to the pit of my stomach listening to @Edgar Allan Pillow moan only to invariably have an all-time great gift-wrapped for him every round.
Sure, but no one's really done that so far (although I'm not entirely ruling it out if I get sufficiently pissed off with my own team). Id, Raees and Skizzo seem to have copped the most flack so far for leading us down obscure chains, yet Planicka, Fontaine and Hanappi were all amongst the best players available to them, and fairly well-known names relative to what else was available to them.

Only Lord Slnister bests you for star quality, but you don't have a single player so far that's anything less than great, there's a clear as day way to set up that attacking five, and then you have fecking Passarella to build your defense around. Unless everything falls to pieces for you I'm praying to feck I don't have to play you

Had him in no mates draft previously and man was an absolute nightmare having played with a plethora of greats.
Ah, of course... Still think he would be a lovely fit, but we all know Edgar's approach to midfield is similar to that of many with goalies and fullbacks: at the end just throw someone in midfield.
I thought that he'll pick either him or the Romanian as DM. I agree it's a great fit. Gullit is a big name and hard to pass. Not sure how he'll make them all work at this point, but he's always creative.
