Indeed, and you may yet come out of this smelling of roses if you get your grubby hands on a Golden Era Brazilian. That's why it should play out rather than get reset or whatnot.

You and EAP have been constantly asking people to open up the pool after it had crossed your pick. It will reach you in a few picks so you are welcome to make sacrifical picks yourself and open it up for the rest.

I'm only commenting mate, not urging anybody to pick someone, it's up to them. I only have control over my picks.

Why on earth would you pick Santamaria so that others have great options? It's fair to say Fontaine is rather underrated in a critical role while Santamaria may be overrated in one shared with AN Other, but as far as the chain is concerned you would pick Fontaine 10/10 times.

From an historical perspective, a player like Sindelar is widely viewed as a greater player than Fontaine :wenger:

You dont have to justify your pick mate, nobody does. Fontaine is a good pick and there was nothing wrong with quality of picks until Hanappi, after that all went to shit apart from few that managed to get Sindelar and co. in between the turds.

Definitely. I made a decision to get a solid defense sorted first with the first 3 or 4 rounds and now I've got half a defence and some random whilst everyone else seems to have the bones of a squad.
