Music DJ Mixes (CAF members or otherwise)

Could anyone recommend any software that will let me mix songs on my mac, bearing in mind that I am very much a novice and like hip hop.
 
I was thinking about doing series of mixes, featuring songs only from a particular artist for each episode. What do you guys think? It will be trance and progressive.

Not really, I tend to vary throughout a set. I may try doing a short one like that tho...

I'm just starting to really get into this after messing around on other people's decks for a few years and getting my own set up - this is the first recorded mix I'm really happy with. It's mainly deep houseyish stuff.

For those interested I did it on Serato using a Pioneer DDJ-SX which is a lovely piece of kit. Tried a few different options before settling on that one. I originally learned on my mate's CDJ-1000s & DJM-800 and using the DDJ-SX feels very similar in usewhich is why I went for it in the end.

I'll also proudly and pretentiously state that the whole thing was done with sync turned off (it's quite obvious at some points :lol:).

Dunno if anyone's interested, but I moved house recently and found all my old tapes. Some mixes by me, some friends, some house parties and some just smoking sessions. All different genres.
I'm starting to digitise them. This is the first one, drum and bass mix from 1996, intelligent DnB, bukem kinda style, bit floaty.
Some train wrecks on there but completely live and uncut, all tracks played from vinyl. Also cos its off tape, the quality is not amazing but Audacity has a great noise removing tool, so most of the snap, crackle pop is gone :-)

Also on my page is some more recent drum and bass mixes.
I'm gonna update it with a load of stuff in the coming weeks, I'll post in here as I do it.

First mix since returning from Ibiza for the summer..
