Like it. Down tempo breaks are useful in many settings especially just in the background. Love 'intelligent' breaks.

This is what I cut my teeth on spinning, Central Florida during the late 80s & 90s defined a special era in worldwide electronic music. We were getting Sasha, Digweed, Adam Freeland, & Detroit OGs coming down to Orlando all the time as those cats had residences in Orlando & Tampa. The homegrown breakbeat talent was off the charts. Quite the seminal time.
 
Always a fun listen. As someone in the comments said, the crowd didn't deserve him...

I went in with my close friend in college for some 1200s & a hand me down Gemeni mixer. I was decidedly worse than my buddy, only played out a couple of times. He found a niche at the clubs in Tallahassee as the opener for headlining DJs, even went out to Vegas to spin at a couple of night clubs in casinos.

Thanks for asking. Had my first site visit & was offered a position, not exactly what I wanted, but they said the offer is open ended as they know I am interviewing elsewhere. I just got done with the first of four Zoom interviews today, if they like me then the next step is site visits. We shall see. Fingers crossed!

Great to have plenty of options on the table.

That's a pretty nice gig your friend had. I find myself reminiscing about my old 1210s a lot these days, the vinyl revival has me itching to pick a pair up again.

Anyone have a rotary mixer? Nice deal on the Union Audio Orbit 2(formerly Mastersounds Radius 2) at the minute for EU customers, thinking of switching out my Xone 23 for one, good/bad idea?
