Let Pnut get a different role and move on from this round. In all this I feel he got shafted the most
Make the pick. All those who posted ineligible picks will suffer the consequences.

Well, I’m off to bed soon and can’t make a pick until Edgar decides what’s going on
If it's your tun, pick away!
I can’t until you’ve clarified what’s going on
Send a PM to EAP who will validate or not your pick. Final say

My pick was gonna be Bobby Moore until Edgar re-rolled MJJ. If that’s final, then I’ll pick someone else I guess.
What is going on? Why should Pnut and MJJ get different rolls because they made ineligible picks? They don't deserve a gift just for operating in grey areas and not getting away with it
In any case, this different roll thing is only shafting the drafters in the later part of the chain. Skizzo got shafted with the MJJ roll, and I really don't see why Pnut got shafted because he made two ineligible picks. It is his task to make sure they are not in some grey areas and this Thuram thing was always going to get some discussions going, despite EAP clearly stating on the first page that colonies are part of the continent of the parent country.
I don't see why there should be any re-rolls at all and I don't see why there should be waiting time for ineligible picks. If Edgar fecks up that is one thing, but if he gives a gift to one drafter, that makes the position of another drafter worse and they don't deserve to get punished for other people making ineligible picks.

@Edgar Allan Pillow Here is what I am not understanding
1) You said colonies are part of the home country/continent yes? That makes Tigana an invalid pick. He was born in Mali in 1955 but Mali only won independence from France in 1960
2) The MJJ PNut picks have not been explained nor the rules governing either made clear to the rest of us
3) We really need some definitive definitions on the Non-SA/Europe category. Its clearly not as simply as you think for us nerds

There is no logical consistency if Thuram is not available in that category but Tigana is available because they are both in the exact same situation. They either both have to be available or neither available in that category.
2) The MJJ PNut picks have not been explained nor the rules governing either made clear to the rest of us (one got a bizarre re-roll and the other didn't)

This is not meant to be a history research. Current will suffice
I agree
In hindsight, the wording should have been "never played for a European and South-America country with the exception of USSR: wiki link". A European country plays the Euro versus a SA country plays La Copa America. After the all, the spirit behind this box was supposedly to pick players generally ignored in these draft.
Tigana is eligible because Mali is no current colony. Thuram was born in a current colony of France, that is the difference. Also the reason why Eusebio is okay, because Mozambique is not a colony as of today.
.They are what I feel as Draft GOATs. Maldini is super defender and I can't think of a single situation where he can be beaten by anyone. Rijkaard is the same. Also decided to block the super attackers. Anyway, it's just arbitrary for this draft.
The club's where they were playing should not have finished within Top 4 of the respective leagues.
For simplicity sake, colonies will be considered part of parent nation continent

Yes. Will add to OP
.
Nah, I think it's the first time when we have a crisis of this magnitudeEvery time there’s a draft category for specific country/colony requirements it goes like this
.
I assume this is why put was rerolled as he did clarify it.
Which is a bit unfair as the rule invalidating his pick was posted after he made his pick

No the rule invalidating his pick was made on the first page, days before the draft started.
Well if you flip it that way then Eusebio and Tigana never should have been valid picks because they were literally born into a colony.

Right now @Edgar Allan Pillow has applied two different rules to Pnut and MJJ
Either both should get re-rolls or neither should get a re-roll
If you're from Russia, can you comment on queries about players from Europe or Asia (or both)?Nah, I think it's the first time when we have a crisis of this magnitude
What do you want to know in particular? If you're from Russia, can you comment on queries about players from Europe or Asia (or both)?
That's the crux of it for me really. How on earth MJJ got a reroll to a good box and I get stuck back in the same one.
