So now if we play the card is it valid for this round or the next?

surely this round? if we play it now then they roll the nice before the card comes into effect whats the point

Yeah that’s my thought as well but

L2 - All managers have below set of cards to play (2 cards). Cards will be effective only from next round after being played. Both cards can be played together in same round!

Yeah that seems pointless, should be able to know what effect your roll will have.

Lads we can‘t change the rules after drafting has started. This is not about a rule being unclear, the wording is as clear as it gets.

Right I am not asking to change the rules but as it stands the usage of cards may not be too meaningful

I would have want to play a card on Moby this round

Yeah otherwise you have no way of knowing if you might be helping them

This whole card thing was a terrible idea in the first place.

Who can I leave my pick with? Phone is going to die

Is that the first opponent or ? What’s the match up all about?

Whatever this thing is talking about

L1 - Match-up's will be made before start of drafting for every round.
L2 - All managers have below set of cards to play (2 cards). Cards will be effective only from next round after being played. Both cards can be played together in same round!

* Add +4 to opponent's roll.
* Reduce -3 to opponent's roll.

So I can't choose which manager I can add rolls to? And if I choose 2mufc0 now that means this takes effect next round?

Did Edgar come with that last night, that would explain it :D

I understood "round" to mean first round of matches. So your opponent for the first round is the one assigned to you right now. The cards simply help you to potentially block certain players from them. Say there's a striker that really fits their system available in your opponent's upcoming boxes, adding to their roll might have an impact on which box they land on and screw up their plans on getting that perfect striker. The cards are then reactivated for the second round of matches and they'd be applicable for the manager who you're drawn against for that match.

Would make no sense to keep doing it tho. Think he meant that you can add or subtract rolls only to the manager you are paired with this round.

R1 opponents would probably be randomized after drafting is over as always.

What I meant was, you already know your R1 opponent.
naa. If that was the case this doesn't make sense:

L1 - Match-up's will be made before start of drafting for every round.

Should be seen as Rolls not Rounds.

It's that you know your opponent for R1 and then once that is over the same will go for reinforcements

But it says every round or I’m missing something :confused:

Have no clue. If that’s the case he should do it only once not every round.

He's doing it once every round. Round here means a match. So the Round 1 matchup is what he's shared here. Round 2 (which is the first reinforcement round) will have a new matchup. Unlike a typical draft, you get to know your opponent early (i.e., before you even start drafting). Well, that's how I see it anyway. :)

The match up announced is your R1 opponent.

Cards will only be effective next round. If you want to gamble do it, else son't play the cards.They are meant to nudge opponent to harder criteria (again luck based) not just move them directly.
