Hi!
Hi!
I think we all lost the run of ourselves a little for a minute there. We'd make good scousers!
They'll lose to Newcastle, Watford and Leicester.
You can believe that if you want to, but I am confident in predicting you won't. Your goalkeeper is significantly worse than the keepers at United, Arsenal and City, your defence is similarly lagging behind, the midfield is not even close to the level of that at Arsenal and United, your wide options are simply average when compared to those at Arsenal and City, and you cannot place Coutinho and Sturridge in the same league as Aguero and Silva.
If Sturridge stays fit, you'll challenge for the top four.
Sometimes one has to wonder if posters even bother to check their facts before they post.
Forget position - we are 6 points off the top with just over 1/3 of the season played.

It was the majority of the United fans who were shitting themselves after our midweek game at Southampton who got ahead of themselves, not the Liverpool fans on here.I think this over-reaction isn't just cos Liverpool fans got ahead of themselves, but the media was dying to get it's "Liverpool are back" narrative moving.
In other news, they're seemingly not bored with the "United are boring" narrative either. I'm pretty sure it's not for that to be announced as a fact on 5 Live! As a match-going United fan, I think I'm entitled to draw those sorts of conclusions. Anyhow, if we had anyone who could finish, I think things would be very different.
(See also "Leicester are amazing" narrative, which could easily be a "the strength of the top 4 is crap" story)

It's not entirely true. The media started creaming themselves, and by reports of people on here, most Liverpool fans did as well. This is sad but true.

As for the Utd fans on here, they've become incredible drama queens so it's not that shocking. But it's not true that only Utd fans started that narrative after the Saints game.

Seems you and Fergie are on different wave-lengths thenThe quality of the manager is always more important than the quality of the squad. It's football hipster logic.
True. But it's important to look at the big picture and not a single person could tell you we are worse off than with Rodgers in charge. Yes yesterday was horrible, it was one of those matches were you knew what was going to happen after 10 mins and we were just waiting for the car crash (got to feel sorry for Moreno though, lovely goal that would've looked hie on his CV).9 points now mate. It was 6 when Klopp took over though.
However it's important to look at the progress and not get carried away one way or the other,
Yep. Liverpool may be "Liverpool Football Club" but their players aren't that good and while they have the best manager in the league (imo), he can't take them from 5th to 1st in less than half a season. They will challenge for 4th with Spurs while the title is reserved for the least sh!te of Arsenal, City and us.

Sir Alex Ferguson is in no doubt that Jurgen Klopp will produce a huge upturn in Liverpool'sfortunes.
Former Manchester United manager Ferguson, who led the Red Devils to 13 Premier League titles and five FA Cups, says he does not want to see the Anfield side successful but finds it hard to speak negatively about the former Borussia Dortmund boss.
The 73-year-old has been impressed by Klopp's personality and is confident there will be a big impact at Liverpool.
"I am worried about him because the one thing United do not want is Liverpool to get above us," he said at the TechCrunch Disrupt London event.
"I know him quite well from the coaching seminars. He is going to make a difference at that club with his personality, drive and knowledge. Things are looking up there.
"He is a fantastic personality, with those big white teeth always showing. Even at Newcastle when they lost the second goal he goes over to Steve McClaren to congratulate him. That is class, that. And the work he did at Borussia Dortmund."
I don't think Fergie is necessarily talking about this season, in the long term yes Klopp will no doubt improve Pool vastly
Ferguson is clueless. Teams have worked Klopp out. Now and in the future. I hope we can get Pep in the summer.

Trashing Southampton tonight, they have a fairly decent league run in before the end of the year.
6-Dec Newcastle (a) 2:0 loss
13-Dec West Brom (h) 2:2 draw
20-Dec Watford (a) 3:0 loss and counting
26-Dec Leicester (h)
30-Dec Sunderland (a)
The usual media clowns that love LFC are already daring to speak of winning the league.
2016 could be a very rough year if they dont hit a run of bad form soon. If you believe in any form of higher power, it could be time to start saying some prayers.
