He was alright tonight, without influencing the game much, but he didn't do anything stupid or especially careless and that's a big improvement.
 
Play him in his position and he will do good. He isn't a right wing back and so this is probably his best

He absolutely was shockingly bad in several games this seaosn, but the last month or so he hasnt really put a foot wrong, so fair play to him

I Can understand anyone thinking that up until mid Feb. the numbers back it up.
 
Thought he was class again today. Had a brief spell where Doku troubled him a bit but that was about it.
 
He’s really improved these last few games. Amorim mentioned they were working on the wing backs in training and it shows
 
Such a good first touch and always a decent outlet, being pressed doesn’t send him panicking.
 
He's been quite good recently and it's great to see. Not saying Dalot should be our starting RWB but certainly looks more it now than few months ago.

That’s standard, but him making 3 or 4 stupid decisions a game that lead to us having to defend a counter attack, seems to have abandoned him of late. Progress
 
Some really excellent passes through tight lines infield to find a midfielder in a lot of space. Doku gave him a bit of bother but he always gives us fits.

This, which is very underrated. You can get the ball to him in tight situations and very often he keeps it. The calls to sell him are silly. At the very least he will be a good backup wingback. Also the only fullback who seems to be able to stay fit which is worth its weight in gold with this squad.
 
Fired in some beautiful crosses and was very good in possession. The Dalot of the previous 2 years is back hopefully.

He's been having some good performances lately, much more like what we saw for the 2 years before this season.
 
There was one play, where I think Maz had the ball in the RB area, and Dalot actually moved inside to create a better passing angle. Whilst it’s ridiculous simple, it showed he’s taking on board some of the principles / as previously he would have just hugged the touchline.

Dalot on the right is ok, him playing on the left has stunted his growth as a player. Hopefully we can start to see him improve.

Thought he got progressively more attacking as the game went on. Was quite conservative in the 1st half, but had a couple of runs at their defenders by midway through the 2nd.

Think he's improving as the team is improving. There's just that extra half second to think, extra man to pass to, extra insurance and confidence someone's covering if you bomb up, coming to grips with more movements and variations in the team.

Surely not?? yea there were no stand out performances but the guy is brain dead. I honestly can't see how anyone sees a place for him.in this team moving forward
 
How does he nearly run the ball off the pitch every single game? Can't fault his effort though and perennially available. He's a good egg.
 
Has been decent recently. We do need more attacking output from our wing backs though so a shame we didn't sign someone more ready than dorgu

This seems generous really, he was one of our worst culprits for losing his head after the first Lyon goal with an awfully reckless challenge.

He wasn't bad or anything, but he didn't do a great deal of note either.

Some people just seem to see what they expect to see. Dalot has been poor most of the season, but he's been one of our best players in each of the last three games. He's been driving the team forward both by carrying the ball himself and making some very good passes, he's been getting forward into good positions more often himself and he's even been putting quite a few good balls into the box in each of these last three games.

It's a small sample size so he'll have to continue like this for the rest of the season, but maybe he can be more of an option as a wingback than I thought. Still wouldn't go into next season as first choice, but as a good backup. Or maybe this is a brief moment and he'll go back to being poor. Have to wait and see.
 
I found him to be pretty average last night. Looks a bit tired at the end.

Didn't offer much going forward. A few crosses was expected. Overlaps were missing.
 
I've both praised and criticized him a lot down the years but I do think people fail to take into consideration the things he's actually very good at, while I can also understand some of the frustration as I do get annoyed with him. He's very comfortable getting out of the oppo press because he's pretty good with either foot, he just shifts the ball onto his left and makes a quick pass out into the midfield and he gets out of the pressing trap. His technical ability is better than he's given credit for.

Really annoyed at how lazy he was defending that 2nd goal. It went downhill for us from there.
 
Did really well for our goal, but seems to be back to making disastrous mistakes regularly, his defending for their second goal was inexplicable.
