The thing with Dalot is, he's one of the players in our squad who I'd say is legitimately just not very good, with zero excuses.
Some of our players are actually good (Bruno, Ugarte etc...)
Some of our players were good in the past, but are now over the hill (Casemiro, Eriksen etc...)
Some of our players are good but inexperienced (Garnacho, Mainoo, Yoro, Amad etc...)
Some are good in specific roles but struggle when asked to do something different (Maguire, De Ligt, Mazraoui etc..)
Dalot has no excuses. He's poor whether he's played RB, LB, RWB or LWB. He should be at the peak of his powers. He's played top flight football for four or five seasons now. Yet week-in, week-out, he absolutely stinks the place out. Poor and lazy defensively and non-existent as an attacking threat.
He had that one season he won PotS almost by default. Few steady away games at full back and he avoided the brunt of the fans ire in a shocking season - but he's really just a genuinely average/poor footballer.
