Really needs to work on his consistency. The whole team looks headless so it's no surprise he does though.
It’s at the stage where if you think he belongs at this level, you know nothing about football. He’s one of the worst players of the last decade for me, at any team. Atrocious player.

I way prefer Wan Bissaka.
He is shite lads. So weak at defending . No awareness at defending at all. Gets caught out every game. Ball watches all the time.

Anybody who tries that shot when you're losing 1-0 and you're striker is waiting for the ball to be played is an idiot. There's no defending that level of stupidity on the pitch.
He’s incredible physically and good technically which theoretically should equal a good player and yet…
He's been a slow developer and I think he's still slowly developing so I still think he'll go on to be a really good player.

I think he encompasses the quality of player United have had in the past decade. Just bang average.
To be fair to him given the fee we paid for him then he's done well in these wilderness years for United, we've paid alot more for alot worse that's for sure.
The issue is we don't seem to have ability to know that he is still a bit rubbish, and ,be able to spot that we need to move him on for a potential profit alot sooner, which is why we never seem to get anywhere.

I doubt we'll be selling him any time soon so I'd imagine we'll be watching him develop regardless.
Another horrible player who got a new contract on the back of a few good games. Many such cases in this squad.

Running half the field is no excuse for shooting from that angle when you have a player you could try and pass the ball to. He good have at least tried to give Hojlund the ball.
He should have passed. He’s a good player and he’ll get better. The attack was horrible today. Bruno Martial McT and Antony were so poor. McT and Bruno in particular were rubbish

I was less bothered about him shooting than others seem to be, I think there was every chance it gets cut out if he squares it and he's in a decent position but he shouldn't be missing at the near post. The bigger issue for me is why he's still here and playing anyway? He's an attacking full back, a reputation he's built more because he's a crap defender rather than being anything particularly good going forward.
As the picture posted earlier shows, he basically had no other option then to go for a shot (perhaps he could have faked a shot as the defender had already commited) but it was an awful attempt of a finish and he should have done a lot better. R

Tbf, Dalot was running at full speed, and Hojlund was in that free position only in split second.
Honestly gave up on him after this. This would never happen to Walker or any Top 4 fullback yet there are some posters ready to wait for his "slow progress."
Yes we could but I do think he’s not our biggest problem. Our attack and lack of any control over games whatsoever is disgusting to see. We created nothing. It’s a huge problem. We still after all these years can’t break down the low block and we can’t go toe toe with the better sides either without getting found out.
He is probably another Lingard, Rashford or McTominay whom our fanbase would keep saying "He is young, it takes time to develop, give him patience blah blah blah" until we realise the player is 27 and is still average
Dalot never given me a 8/9/10 performance. At the beginning 2nd half, he had a chance to cross and yet he kick it straight out then that shot instead of passing. If he has hit the target then I have nothing to say but he miss. This team has no accountability, even after such display he will start again. ETH takes too long to drop a player, way too long. If AWB is fit, Dalot should always sit.

For a while there was this myth that he's good going forward, and yet he doesn't overlap, can't cross, cant beat a player, always chooses the wrong option and has about ten career assists - even the assist for Garnacho's overhead kick vs Everton was a truly woeful cross.
Then we get into his defending...consistently switches off, lazy in tracking back, poor in one vs one situations, poor tackler...the only thing, literally the only thing, that he's half useful for is his aerial ability, which is good for a RB

He's so underrated here. One of the few in our squad that wouldn't look out of place at City.
It is because he was running full speed. It was a difficult angle either for pass or a shoot under these circumstances. Sometimes players inside the box just have to take their chance, shoot and hope for the best.
We know he is not Dani Alves, but this was our main chance and he really created it out of nothing. We really can't blame the RB because we didn't create clear cut chances.

Describes most of our players and I don't even mean that in a joking sense. We have CBs who are not intelligent enough in terms of their positioning and passing apart from Martinez. We have fullbacks who both lack the technique to create chances as well as the IQ apart from maybe Shaw, we have centre mids who positionally and on the ball lack football intelligence. Our wingers have absolutely no clue how to create chances apart from for themselves.
Dalot is a perfect example of this. Physically he has good attributes but he also clearly has not got the football IQ to be a top player. Which is fine, however the club has continuously rewarded this type of mediocrity. So many players like Lindelof, Dalot, Mct etc have proven that they are not united 1st 11 quality and yet have been rewarded with contracts instead of being shipped out. The fact that Dalot is being offered a new contract despite offering basically nothing to this team in all his time here sums up the club.
His decision making and positioning on the pitch is so bad I'm not even sure Messi levels of ability would be able to compensate for it.
When your right full back is cropping up on the left wing mid way through an attack, or your right sided centreback keeps having to fill in for him to create space on the right because he's completely disappeared, that's obviously a fairly big problem.
Well they do look pretty poor defensively atm so that makes sense.

He has all the physical abilities to be top tier, but is missing the brain. Will have random spurts where everything works, but is never going to be a top player. We need to sell him while he's still worth decent money.
