Dalot never had strength in his life. Pereira was a first team starter, Dalot had just moved up from the B team.
This is exactly how I see it too, he’s still young so you never know but I really don’t see him making at United.Think his biggest issue is he’ll never get a run of games to try and get form.
For all his promise it’s not really worked out for him at United.
I think he is that bad, honestly. Offers nothing defensively, and doesn't really do much in attack either. You have to wonder what he’s done? He’s not that bad to be completely left out and even benched for TfM who hasn’t played for United since 2017.
He is on the bench = not injured for sure. He is worse than Fosu-Mensah, apparently...Was hoping him to start today. Is he injured, or he is done here?

Showed some attacking promise and did that thing in Paris.
I’m gonna file Dalot under the same heading as Darmian and Varela in the ‘right backs who looked promising for a brief period before never being seen again’.
He defends like a traffic cone, he is that bad.You have to wonder what he’s done? He’s not that bad to be completely left out and even benched for TfM who hasn’t played for United since 2017.

I get that he’s not a first team player but im not having TFM being a better full back than him. Guess we’ll see.

Might not be a better overall full-back than dalot but Tim is a better tackler.I get that he’s not a first team player but im not having TFM being a better full back than him. Guess we’ll see.
TFM is a better defender and that's all that matters.I get that he’s not a first team player but im not having TFM being a better full back than him. Guess we’ll see.
He's in his 40s now. I think Dalot could handle him.Maybe Ole thinks TFM will be better able to handle the aggression of Saha if he plays on that flank? Otherwise it's a strange one.
He does a mean step over to nowhere. When?

To be fair to Dalot, out of the boundaries of the pitch is still somewhere. He does a mean step over to nowhere.

We're fecked if we put Dalot on because Macguire and Lindelof would be exposed every single time Zaha runs at them.
TFM is also more experienced and is more familiar with the Crystal Palace players and would recognise how they prefer to attack, which would help us in defending.
He actually started 21 games for Crystal Palace till he got injured and lost his spot to AWB and another 12 appearances for Fulham. That's basically double of Dalot's first team career so far in the top level of foot.Where is all that coming from though? TFM must have about 10 PL games to his name in 3 years. Went to palace and sat half the season on the bench.
Look I hope im wrong and he plays well but he’s had a bad injury and this is a must win game.....I mean he’s not even been making the bench when was the last time he played first team football? just seems like risk to me in a big game.
Didnt realise the hate on here for Dalot, it’s surprising I‘ve always found him ok.
