Dalot never had strength in his life. Pereira was a first team starter, Dalot had just moved up from the B team.

Think his biggest issue is he’ll never get a run of games to try and get form.

For all his promise it’s not really worked out for him at United.
This is exactly how I see it too, he’s still young so you never know but I really don’t see him making at United.

Positional awareness of a cone. Horror show defending. Lacklustre drive on the ball. fecking drive forward when you get the ball! Putting your foot on the ball as a right back on half way line is exactly what the opponents want

He will be gone this summer.

Williams is doing a far better job both at RB and LB, also we have Laird coming in too.

Was hoping him to start today. Is he injured, or he is done here?

Showed some attacking promise and did that thing in Paris.

You have to wonder what he’s done? He’s not that bad to be completely left out and even benched for TfM who hasn’t played for United since 2017.

I think he is that bad, honestly. Offers nothing defensively, and doesn't really do much in attack either.

Surely as good as gone. With our two available LB’s out, you’d have thought he was certain to start.

If you can’t get a start over a guy that majority of us had forgotten he was even still at the club, then that doesn’t give you much hope of getting a game in the future.

I’m gonna file Dalot under the same heading as Darmian and Varela in the ‘right backs who looked promising for a brief period before never being seen again’.

A loan would be good for him. Its to early to write him off. Very promising player and he is still very young.

Hopefully we can get close to breaking even. He’s still extremely young and has some potential. We got scammed to begin with but we can scam someone back.

Well unless Ole goes, then I’d say he’s done here. Shame.

Maybe Ole thinks TFM will be better able to handle the aggression of Saha if he plays on that flank? Otherwise it's a strange one.

He's so bad that I wonder if he'll even come on if TFM tires in the second half.

Looks like it. I hope he gets a loan next year, but he's shown very little this year when fit.

I get that he’s not a first team player but im not having TFM being a better full back than him. Guess we’ll see.

Height has come into this decision I expect.

The last time TFM played as a left back he played like a man possessed now letting anything go past him. That was against Spurs.

Thats a goodbye for sure, if he cant get ahead of TFM he's fecked.

TFM is a better defender and that's all that matters.

We're fecked if we put Dalot on because Macguire and Lindelof would be exposed every single time Zaha runs at them.

TFM is also more experienced and is more familiar with the Crystal Palace players and would recognise how they prefer to attack, which would help us in defending.

Maybe he’s in there for his knowledge of Crystal Palace? Other than that I can’t really think why he’s playing ahead of Dalot

He's in his 40s now. I think Dalot could handle him.

He does a mean step over to nowhere.

It feels like one of those things people just say but I don't know where the evidence of that is.

"Oh yeah Dalot can't defend but he's good going forward"

I can't remember him doing much attacking that's left me impressed. And his defending is terrible.

Where is all that coming from though? TFM must have about 10 PL games to his name in 3 years. Went to palace and sat half the season on the bench.

Look I hope im wrong and he plays well but he’s had a bad injury and this is a must win game.....I mean he’s not even been making the bench when was the last time he played first team football? just seems like risk to me in a big game.

Didnt realise the hate on here for Dalot, it’s surprising I‘ve always found him ok.

He actually started 21 games for Crystal Palace till he got injured and lost his spot to AWB and another 12 appearances for Fulham. That's basically double of Dalot's first team career so far in the top level of foot.

He's an unknown factor compared to Dalot which is a known flop.
