He done the exact same at St Etienne. Didn't show up to training, handed in transfer request etc. Widely reported he had a bad attitude at almost every club and a reason highlighted that despite his talents he was avoided for so long by most.

I know it is nice to laugh at West Ham regarding this, but player/agent power like this is a problem for all clubs, & needs to be stamped on. In the end they would probably sell, but wouldn't it be great if they made him play with the reserves for the next five years. He would be nearly 35 when his contract ends, & would probably be just at the level to play in China.
