So .. will they let him go? He's 29 now and having a pretty meh season. Would any club pay the huge fee it'd cost to get him?
 
He wants to go back home, and a L'Equipe article said Marseille would pay €20-30m(?). I think they'd let him go for that if he's acting like this.
 
Wonder who will go in for him.

Arsenal don’t need him, nor do Chelsea or City. He doesn’t look a Klopp signing and I’d doubt we’d go for him when we have the 3 Ms with Rooney+Lingard on top.

Keeping him doesn't make sense - he's obviously not trying anywhere near as much as he showed last season.
 
We should be all over him. Sell Martial for £20m and buy Payet for £30m.
 
He would be worth it for his set pieces alone.

I'm sure if he did come here we'd train that good set piece delivery skill right out of him. We've not had a consistently good corner taker since Beckham for feck sake.
 
OP doesn't tell the completely story. He doesn't just want to go anywhere, he wants to go back to Marseille.

Good thing for all if he goes to Marseille. Don't want him at Utd especially with that attitude, so better he goes to the French league than to a rival because he is capable of some amazing plays.
 
They wanted the world for him last summer, 60 million quid and now the idiots will sell him for nothing. Can only laugh at that :lol:
 
We shouldn't be interested, but it gives me immense joy that Payet reminds WH how small time they are, delusional cnuts.
 
Tbh, considering we've played the cnuts twice, I was quite hoping WHU and Payet could hit some form and take points off our rivals. Guess not.
 
Been clear as day he wants to leave for ages.
 
West Ham has been a disaster of a club for the past year. I feel sorry for Bilic to be honest.
 
They'll probably keep him till summer and then I can see him going to Arsenal to replace Ozil.
 
Going off their own valuations this window they can expect a barrage of 5 million pound bids.

He's 30 in March, getting towards the end of the road anyway. Played a lot of games in his career and probably just wants to go back to Marseille for a big payday and then push off back to La Reunion in about 2 years time.
English football has worn him down very quickly.
