I am. I'm level 28 which is the highest you can get without doing raids and stuff.

Idd, they're nerfing their range and / or their stability.
They'll still be good at short / medium range just might bring pulse and scout rifles into pvp a bit, which would be nice.
Anyway give it a week or two and they'll probably have buffed or nerfed every gun a couple of times. Just use what your used to or like imo. Trying to keep up with the buff nerf cycle is kind of futile imo.

Im level 26 so could do the raid. Wont really be free this weekend though so maybe next time.

Yeah, I couldn't play for a couple of days and then you were all like level 15+ and I was level 8 or something and it sort of made me lose motivation. I'll probably give it a go at some point though.
 
A mate of mine just got his so thinking I'm gonna start a new character to play along with him, not sure whether to go warlock or titan though, I'm thinking titan as it seems less similar and a bit more tactical than the other two from what I know

How hard is the weeks raid?

I'm pretty sure a maxed legendary gives 27 light. I'm almost at level 29 and I should have enough shards to fully max out all my legendary and exotic gear tomorrow. I'll let you know if it gets me to 29.

How will we be doing it? From the top of the ledge, and if so do either of you have anything that can take out the minotaur that repeatedly spawns in one hit?

My rocket launcher should be able to take him out in one hit i think.

I need to buy a couple of legendary armours and I'll be good to for the higher missions. Let me know if you need any help
 
Only thing Xur had for me was a helmet which was like 20 up from my legendary.

Didn't bother I'll just wait until next week.
 
If you guys are thinking of trying the raid and are short on players, invite me. I'm only level 24, but I may be better than nothing. I repeat, may...
 
Is it lagging for anyone else? The game just stops for me sometimes.
 
It took me a bunch of tries as I just got the ps4 and I couldnt seem to run, jump and press the right button to mellee :D also I'm not sure what its like getting to that position with a class other than Titan, using the same abilities he did

I'm a warlock so should be okay (apparently hunters are the ones that don't really stand a chance), but I'm on a vita at the moment so finding it harder to see the screen/where to go.
 
@Damien Good news, you can get to level 29 without the raid gear, I've just done it. Feck me, what a tedious grind that ended up being.
