26 should be alright with me and Tekkers around. Just be very careful as you'll probably die - a lot. What's your PSN and Tekkers can add you?
 
And when we get to the Nexus don't jump down into the arena, just stay up on the ledge. If we feck it up just once, we're back to orbit.

Fire the Nexus with heavy/special, and Tekkers is best armed to keep an eye on the minotaur, that'll be a bitch.
 
Shall we organise a Caf Raid for tomorrow night, you can have a 6 player fireteam right? We are all around the same level now.
 
Wahoooo just got a exotic auto rifle called the Monte Carlo! Got it in a legendary engram on earth just farming spin metal and a enemy dropped it :lol:

And I got another legendary machine gun - I already had one, plus two legendary pulse rifles. Still not got an exotic weapon yet... although I did finally level up to vanguard 3 so got a legendary sniper rifle which means that all my slots are finally taken by legendary or better (had a rare fusion rifle for ages).

But I thought the reward for doing the nightfall was pretty stupid. Could have been much better, and no strange coins :( I'm 7 short of the amount needed for the exotic rifle so there's no chance of me getting that now.

Nightfall was pretty easy in the end. Your titan shield along with my warlock self resurrection make a pretty good combo, so even if things weren't going so well, we had a bit of wiggle room. On the nightfall, all solar stuff was made very effective. Fusion rifle along with my machine gun were solar, plus my melee and grenades are too so it really couldn't have gotten any better.

:lol: Yeah, we really shouldn't have attempted those missions other than the Earth one - especially that time we attempted the last mission of the game! Jesus. We did so much, got so far and I got killed like 50 bajillion times because I despise those stupid statues, but in the end had to quit. Great that your on 23 now.

I'll also be doing a bunch of other stuff, other people might need

I need to do 25 strikes for the bad juju, so could help if people need those

And I'll probably be getting a few levels on my Warlock thats level 10, so if anyone wants to level alts or if they are low level we could do some story or low strikes as well

Im up to lvl17 now. Got I think 3 Queens Wrath missions which I *think* I can do at 20 (might need some help with those :S), or they might be higher, cant remember.

What should I be doing when I reach lvl20 to try to gear up quickest? Just farming bounties, pvp, or something in particular?

Also I notice the RedCafe clan (if thats what its called) that Damien (and presumably others) is in - can I get an invite?
 
Is the game down for anyone else? When I try to play it just says can't connect to Destiny servers.
 
I have the exotic suros regime, but I bought it rather than had it drop.

I've got some farming to do now to get mats to get my armour boosted.

I am going to roll a hunter at some point today, so I'll do some scrub bashing and I'll be set to rank up with you.

Nice, almost there

Queen's are perfect for helping you gear up at 20 for a head and body legendary. Just make sure you have a good arc/blue/lightning weapon once you get there
 
I have everything legendary or exotic except my helmet, going to really struggle to find one. Had a helmet Legendary drop yesterday which turned out to be a frigging rare one. So frustrating
 
Really wish we could customise the knife when using the Arc Blade. Would have been fun to have different swords.

On a slightly different note, hit 20 yesterday and have been doing PvP ever since. Gets more enjoyable the better you become, shocking! My gear is awful though so where would you good people recommend me get better gear? PvP is not a bad way I assume, though it's slow.

Just do the Queen's Bounty, she gives almost nothing besides legendary helmets and bodies. I have 3 helms from her because its not even worth dismantling :D

Queen's bounty till you have the body and helmet. Then its only really good for getting rank 1 for a logo and a shader, rank 2 for some other bits and pieces. But I'm like rank 1.5 and Ive only seen the body and helmet drop, not the ship or sniper that other people seem to get. So wouldnt count on that

We did Earth for the other one too. We tried one or two
others but got properly fecked up so gave up and went hoping for Earth which is when you came along :)

Yep, we should have stuck it out for Earth from the get go because that Black Garden mission was mental. I was useless, just couldn't damage them!

Yeah i reckon i can get to 24 just by upgrading these pieces too, although i will need spinmetal and that stuff on Venus to do that though. Think i'll try and get my Vanguard rep up and marks up a bit tonight, then i can at least get acess to some more legendary gear to level me up a tad.
