He would but wouldn't recommend he do it as his light is around 126
He's managed to get into TDL solo anyway so it should do the job.

There are four main sections:
- The Abyss
- The Bridge
- Ir Yut (Death Singer)
- Crota

The servitor isn't too bad to do alone as long as you just stay in cover really. Takes a while to bring him down with little ammo but eh.One person crosses over. Rest kill themselves then whatever warlocks there are res themselves and kill the ogres on the other side. I'll try

I switched my ps4 on this morning before work in case there was another big update to download, but I'm guessing everything was included in last week's.
I have done the same with my Xbox One but there should definitely be another update today, around 30gb I've heard.
Not sure if that include the initial 17gb for the 2.0 update or not but guess i'll find out tonight.
Not sure how it is on Xbox, but the main bulk (99%) of the game was downloaded in the last update, they will release a 10mb update today which will unlock the DLC.

Ah right, just had a quick look online and it says (like you did) 99% was d/l in the 2.0 Patch which will be a massive relief.
Just jumped on for 5 minutes this morning (haven't even got TTK yet), just to have a look at what's different in the Tower and whatnot. I was right at the edge of my Vanguard rep so ranked up, got my package and ended up with your standard Strange Coins, Motes of Light but also a new set of legendary greaves! Bog Wild 1.0 they're called. Good start to the day!

It's light level that's the real number you need to be watching though. 290 light is the max apparently. Getting to 40 just means you can equip stuff to raise your light more really.
Anyone else having a problem with the update? Staying at 75% (preparing for download). ARGHHHH!!
Yep, the level 40 part seems rather pointless. More of an excuse to just totally reset all the gear than anything.

It does seem like that really. I guess it's more of a journey towards 40 now for people who are just starting, but 34 to 40 is piss easy by the sounds of it. Oh well, we're in it for the loot anyways!

Well I used spark of light on my hunter which was the best choice seen as I had 3 exotics for it, now it's going to take a while to get my Titan level up.

I had a bad feeling this would be the case. I don't get why they seem so against high level caps, it would stretch the game out so much more, and they could still control the progression of guns/armour easily enough.
It will probably end up happening, the game is slowly turning more and more MMO, and TTK is essentially a big reset button.
From what I can tell, there is no point keeping them right now. Though I learnt the hard way last time, when I dismantled a whole bunch of stuff only for them to decide we could upgrade them at a later date. So going to just vault them for now.

Don't dismantle anything you would deem "worthy" for now. There is always a chance we might be able to "Ascend" them again.
The reason for the new stuff being better than the old stuff is because they don't want players getting attached to the old weapons, otherwise everyone would just continue to keep using Fatebringer, Gjallahorn, Black hammer everywhere etc..
Have you tried the other classes ? I'm hearing that if you hit the hunter super dead on to enemies it deals massive damage, comparable to celestial nighthawk levels of damage output.
Only started playing an hour ago. Played on my Warlock, did the first few missions and got the Stormcaller unlocked and will play more later
