Yeh I knew that bit of the quest. I've started saving the few keys I've got so I don't have to farm them once I finally get the bounty to drop.

When you say bosses, is that only the final round boss that counts towards the win. Or would you have been able to do I think it was the 34 this week that has three of the early rounds with the boss type levels and get 3x350 from each run?

Any boss counts but I don't think you'd get that many points from each run

The +2 agility from the Multi-Tool is noticeable. Not sure how that perk would affect recovery, however. Also, I wonder if that effect stacks. If so, a full squad of those would be insane, assuming that +3 is a decent amount.

I know it is noticeable, its just the way they display the perk is meaningless to us as we don't have a visible agility stat.

Looked at a video review of the perk and the range of the increased recovery was rather poor and required you to actually stay near the person to keep the buff, unlike weapons/blessing of life type buffs. You basically had to be right next to them, move more than a few meter's away and you lost the buff.
 
:lol: the 34 this week is very very easy. The boss regens health back, but has hardly any. So just clear the adds and then snipe away on it until it gets about half health then just bomb it with rockets until it is dead. We did have a VIP target spawn, but other than that the fight is really simply and straight forward. Got the bounty out of it as well.

Do you only have one chance of getting the bounty per week (per character) or can you do the 34 multiple times? If it is that easy then it might be worth the grind!

Just logging in, but will need to annihilate a sirloin steak shortly.

I'll just do Nightfall on my Hunter and leave the other two. I'm not going to really be using them until I have done The Queen's dirty work and gotten my reward, anyway.

What do you fancy doing in terms of PoE? I'm easy, but don't really fancy 35.

Cool. Either 32 or 34, don't mind which. 32 has the armour core but the helm available at Variks is all strength for some reason. From what I've read, 34 doesn't seem too difficult.

As for 35, I don't really fancy it either - not yet anyway. Will probably wait a few days to see what strategies are out then use one of the light I've got stocked up to ascend a void weapon.

Sounds like a plan. I have a piece of Etheric Light saved. Three more from this week's 34s, two from Iron Banner and potentially more from Nightfalls should see me right for getting set up for Skolas void.

I'm still yet to receive a single piece of Etheric Light from nightfalls. Its annoying.

Let us know when you do come on and I'll join you. I've got one piece from Skolas last week, and one piece from doing Iron Banner glitch. I had one char on rank 5 and two on rank 4 but couldn't remember which one was on rank 5 and guessed wrong.

Iron Banner glitch?

Just at Lord Saladin. Am I right in thinking that it's not the case that you can buy as much Etheric Light as you want, once you hit rank 3? I'd assume that once you buy that piece, it then requires rank 5 and then no more after that...?

Yeah you can buy one at rank 3 and one at rank 5.

IB glitch is if you're in orbit just before 6pm, when 6pm hits you go into the tower (if it says requirements not met, change a piece of armour) and your rank from the last Iron Banner will still be there while you're logged in to that character. As I was rank 4, I could buy anything. Ended up just buying the one Etheric Light and the Gauntlets and Boots. Won't be ascending either though as eventually they'll be down as 42 light in a future Iron Banner.

Just did the 34 and got the elder cipher! So hard to choose, they all look awesome. What did you go for/are you happy with your choice?

Nice, congrats. We're stuck on the boss.

I went for Lord of Wolves and am very happy, though I don't really use shotguns so can't compare it to anything. It's more of a pulse rifle.

We just ran to the back house and stood on the top and hid, waited for the boss to move close on the right hand side and then just bounded him with gjally and grenades / whatever you can hit him with. He died actually quite easy, we even had a 33 doing it too. A breath of fresh air compared to last weeks :lol:

Yeah I watched a video of it, looks really cool but they say the ammo runs out quick which is annoying.
 
Good to see they nerfed the vex boss. Right pain in the arse that one.

Patch looked fairly good, but one point
  • You will need to defeat Skolas again to receive the ‘Elder Cipher’ Bounty
Any idea what this line means. Does that mean the bounty only drops from Skolas now and not in the 34? or do I need to open chests from skolas now instead of any Poe to get the next step once I've got the bounty?

The Vex boss is still a pain in the arse as @Brocky will attest, though we had one person without a gjally so had to try and do it normally

No, it just means that whoever had "got" the bounty but it hadn't fallen because their bounties were full, get it if they beat Skolas again. It drops on both 34 and 35
