Sorry about that. Was watching TV for a bit so turned volume off and didn't see the message alerts for some reason. Don't worry about it and sorry for being there so long that is even quicker than it used to take to do normal mode crotaGutted about last night. Just couldn't complete 35 but that was more to do with the time we started at. Was knackered by the time we got to the fourth round. We seem to have an agreement in place though now, which should make things easier. We'll be giving it another go tomorrow, starting earlier. Tonight I'll just be doing the nightfalls and stuff. Good thing is once you've done 32 and 34 in the first week, you can do them in any order the following week.

I think I am going to not bother with the Weekly for a while. There is too much content to get through now. I have almost 200 coins in the vault and I seem to be picking quite a few up per week from engrams and PoE, so i'll see how it goes.

Definitely. Both the Claw and the fusion rifle from Variks only have Shanks as bonus damage which seems pretty pointless

For a while I didn't bother with the Nightfall, but with the Light now, its an important thing to do with the Weekly not so important. Not got Etheric Light in four Nightfall attempts (3 last week, 1 this week), which is annoying.What happened with Scoot last night was like a script out of comedy or something. All that work and attempts for NLB!

Yeah, I think I'll make getting VoC to 365 a priority if I get a piece of Light before we do it.I got a Knucklehead Radar with 136 Strength (according to PlanetDestiny the max is 149 so not bad). Other than that, nothing. No Light at all. Hopefully will have decent luck doing the 32 PoE tonight
@Brocky In Black, apparently 35 is pretty much the same apart from the burn for Skolas. Here's a method someone used:
on the plus side there should hopefully be less chance of Skolas one shotting us... on the downside all the other fallen bar shanks will probably destroy us. We could try the other strategy though with Thunderlords instead of Gjally and see how that fares us

Hmm....not sure. The Thunderlord clip is very small and that means lots of reload time. Pair that with the fact that you don't carry a great deal of ammo and I can't see it working, tbh. You could maybe have a couple of Thunderlords with someone stunning him with P&T during reloads, but that would take more coordination and I really can't see you getting him down before running out of ammo. I have a good arc launcher (Dead Orbit) but it needs rolling and leveling.

Thanks for the invite, I've had insane luck today. Second time I've been invited to a group of two people already on round 4. Did it with Titan earlier so thought may as well switch to Warlock if I could before the final stage started as Warlock's Angel of Light is fine for the rage.
You can get back in for the later stages. You just need to click join when the players in the game wipe. While the count down numbers are up, for some reason it lets you join.
By then the pricks had invited someone else, luckily i had someone else doing it just a level behind and damo showing me the cheese for it as well.
On another note just finished my last Nightfall for the week and after 2 ordinary runs i dropped a hawkmoon on my last one

Turn right as you enter and it's halfway up the room on your right. We did it last night and then, as Damo moved, Afro and I popped Saint 14 bubbles over that door and the opposite one, so that we could Gjally the stunned wizards and then just pick off the rest.
Got the new Fallen shotgun last night on a Judgement's Chance roll. Solar damage (arc would've been nice) and bonus to Vandall damage. I think the other perk is something like 'Hits with the weapon increase melee damage'.
Yeah, if you look at this video at this point, you can see the ribcage to the left. Near the ribcage is a platform just above a couple of doors right by the wall
It really does make it a lot easier and eases a lot of frustration
