Don't know if you guys have seen the Gatekeeper glimmer farm video on Reddit? Either way, it's amazing. Came in with 8k, less than an hour later I've maxed out my glimmer and have 21 axiomatic beads, so another 4.5k.

Yeah it's easily the best way to get glimmer without too much hassle, can wing it with 3 of you no problem.
 
Getting pretty good at the sword now, helping people out on Crota is pretty fun now that I've done all my runs.

You can now take and put items in the vault from the Destiny companion app!

See for yourselves! Let's you place items in the vault and place them as well!

Edit: As confirmed by /u/Yangry1 you can switch weapons and resources while in the game. Also I tested this on an iPhone and am not sure if this works from an Android device yet Edit: /u/SS-Camaro has confirmed it works on Android as well as the website too! Does anyone have confirmation of a windows phone? Edit: Shoutout to /u/Yangry1 for confirming the following:

  1. You can move stuff from the vault to a character while the character is in game and it will show up like a drop.

  2. You can move stuff from your character to the vault.

  3. No option to directly move stuff from one character to another - have to go through the vault

  4. You can SPLIT RESOURCES from the vault to character and from the character to the vault

  5. I'm not on the same network as the PS4 - doing it over LTE

  6. You can do this with any character you have...even the one you are playing

Seriously it's fecking awesome... while I was joining Brocky on my Warlock I moved my Fatebringer from my Hunter to my Warlock and it showed up on the right side (like a drop or something)... lovely.

Arc damage on the Fang, obviously, but I'm gonna miss Firefly from the Rapier if I change it up.
 
Did Crota HM with one group, did it on the second try so we just said that we'd do it on other characters as well. One guy was doing bounties and one was AFK. We pushed the AFK guy onto the crystal and kept him protected with bubbles in the middle. He came back after we'd taken the first ogre down and we told him to stay the feck away and stay inside the middle room, so we ended up four-manning Crota :lol:
 
That destiny app item transfer is great. I take it you can't do it while in a mission and only from orbit really?
 
There is no way I am moving stuff like IB and Jellyhorn using a third party app created by Bungie.

It's more likely to wipe your account and set fire to your trousers than do what it's supposed to do.
 
Yeh reading up on it a bit, and seems some people are having issues with items vanishing when they use it. Not overly surprised really.

Could you point me in the direction of a source, Dargon? The app is a god-send, but if I risk losing stuff - which I would assume Bungie would not replace - then I will steer clear.

Was just on the bungie.net forum. Seemed people were getting weasel errors or something like that.
 
From what I can tell, the post on Bungie Forum is a troll. It's apparently to do with a 'Weasel' error, which is connection related, I think. The majority of people seem to have no issues.

Despite not getting any Titan armour, I had a decent haul last night. Dropped another Word of Crota, another Fang or Ir Yut, another Abyss Defiant and a fourth pulse rifle, which I sharded.

I now have two of each Crota weapon, barring the Hunger rocket launcher and the Song machine-gun, which I have never dropped.

WTB: Vault space

Nice. Song of Ir Yut was the first weapon I got. Still only missing the Crux, and that's mainly because I've hardly done Crota HM
 
We going to get a couple of us together for a VOG or Crota kill later?
